Now, Len loves Rin, so when he saw Kaito did that, he thought he should too. Apparently, Rin had the same idea. He put it on his hand, which Rin kissed, and she put it on the rose, which Len smelled. Which is why, at the end, the two viles were there, and they were both drooling like that xD because of the Cantarella. That's my interpretation of it anyways xD
