20 years in congress: This man is one of the people who has SCREWED us. Look at his voting record. Retire all incumbents, starting with McCain (he's already voted himself a nice lifetime pension and healthcare plan at taxpayers expense).

A MAJOR problem is the drug companies and HMOs. The drug companies, while obviously necessary, act like lobbyists for medications.
You should see the events they have to persuade doctors. It's basically like those corporate retreats that Wells Fargo has.

Here is the situation:
1. Doctor is given information that says these meds help people and are safe.
2. Doctors are offered big payouts to prescribe them.
3. Doctors are already overworked and don't have the time to do their own pharmaceutical trials every time a new pill comes out.
1+2+3=Doctors WANT to believe drugs do what they say and don't try very hard to make sure because they are only human.

The democrats are voting in twice the numbers they were at the last election. Though the vote may be undecided between Obama and Clinton, if it turns into a brokered convention, the two would be an unstoppable tag team (if both their egos could fit inside the White House!) If McCain teams up with Romney or Huckabee then he might be able to attract base conservatives and moderate indp/dems, but the anti-war, anti-Bush, and anti-Republican sentiment is going to be hard to beat.

Nice way of characterizing him now. The old McCain seemed to have not been afraid of disagreeing with his Party.

Everytime I see this lovely ad, and think about how much John loves America and of course Rudy, too, and to tell you the truth, I'm having a hard time choosing on account of they're both top drawer heros. Rudy and John are fighting Islamofascism with all their hearts, but I always ask myself if there are candidates out there who don't love America as much. Then my thoughts turn to left field. And I just don't see the love.

look, i wont vote for him but mccain is not a joke. he was a fucking tortured POW who has served (more than not) honorably in the senate. talk about a joke, ron paul's a congressmen with no name recognition. his supporters are just phanatically loud. maybe mccain's run is over (and i dont think we're worse off for it) but RP wont even get one no matter how hard you wish.

If you want name recognition then vote for Giuliani or Clinton. If you want someone who truly understands the direction we must take in order to restore peace and prosperity, and the republic, then support Ron Paul. Is it surprising to you that that Paul supporters are fanatically loud? It's because we, as McCain, love our country and despise the status quo.

A better ad than his last one, but too little, too late, especially after he became Bush's personal biatch these past several years. You can tell though in this ad that he's trying to appear the independent maverick he once was, by attacking both right and left issues. His last ad was more more unbalanced, mostly going after left leaning issues.
