Exactly how much smarter are the towers? Will for example splash towers focus on larger groups of mobs or will they stay on their existing targets?

They are not that smart.. Like in warcraft there is some randomness added which prevents them from all picking on the leading creep, they also do not attack targets that will be killed by another tower.

The area you can build towers on is much larger in this one, also each tower has 10 upgrades, and the towers are different sizes so placing them requires more thought to not leave spaces.

I have to thank you for all the money you've saved me by keeping me away from World of Warcraft...lol. Ironic seeing the game is probably based (in part) on Warcraft 3.
