  • R.I.P. Ms Etta James. Thank You For This Song and Many Many More. This song helped me to get out of a bad relationship, and now I no longer feel like sugar on the floor.

  • Man I have seen her five times and I would give anything in the world to see her perform live again. If you have not watched the DVD "Burning Down The House" then do, she is a nonstop rocking good time. I love her so much and pray for her often.

  • Could I ask for more!!!!!!!

  • I was lucky enough to see Etta in NYC in the early 80's and she did this during her second set. It was, without a doubt, the single best live musical moment for me. She absolutely nailed this one and wrung every ounce of feeling out of the song and the audience members. I was left shell shocked. Somewhere I know a bootleg of that show exists. It should go to CD immediately. That show - the crowd singing counterpoint to her during "You're Real Good Thing"... oh, the goosebumps! Thank you Etta!
