  • Sheffield Tram No. 74 was built originally as an open top tram, and then it was enclosed to create an enclosed double-decker with open platforms and staircases.  A unique tram. I'm not surprised that the Conductor used their whistle at the beginning rather than the bell, as it is in a very awkward position which is just next to the handbrake (the lever the driver was using in the video) and hard to get to. I know this because I am a Conductor on the trams and have been on 74 quite a bit! :)

  • @8spliced Hi, u used to conduct too, back in the good o`le days of 84 n 86, i was from M/cr, used to come with keith in his green buss ??, now im in Auss, with historical Aircraft lol
