The "family in Iowa" is Carson Williams who was paid by Northfield to complete this. You may have noticed him say "I'm just a guy who does this on his house."

This seems to be the best video for Symphony in Lights. Damn, I figured some microsoft types would bring this to Seattle first. There IS a north of Microsoft on 148 that has syncronized lights to "christmas decorations" I'll post that as soon as I get a chance.
