All military branches, even the USAF Auxillary, CAP, have the same basic drill movements. They all have their own unique differences. But you can't say one is better than the other. It's like saying red is better than blue. They are both colors...
Let's face it...The Marine Corps leads the way...weather it's tossing around 10lb+ weapons with extreme precision or battlefield excellence...we set the standard and hope everyone else can keep up. Semper Fidelis. -Marine Veteran
Gotta say, you guys have extreme esprit de corps, but you don't have to take credit for something that isn't true, The Marine Corp drill team is "pretty," but never compared to The Army Drill Team and NOW, not even the Navy Drill Team. The Navy Drill Team many not be many, but they do some stuff the Marine's haven't even figured out yet. Respond to me when Marine DC keeps their bayonets on and starts doing multiple throws, not just a couple guys, but the whole team...
why dont you grow up? I hate when little kids who aren't even in the military say one branch is better than the other. actually man up and join a branch and i might listen to what you have to say
This is so friggin awesome...im in army jrotc, but i think the navy has got the exhibition skills. I've been in exhibition tournaments and i know these guys moves are sweet!!!
Wow, the Navy Drill team has surpassed the Marine Corps Drill team??? All these guys can handle a weapon. Maybe not as pretty as the Marine Corps, but definately more difficult.
Wow! I was USN 68-72 and I still remember doing the 'Queen Anne' rifle drill as punishment in Great Lakes. Those are 9 lb. pieces they are chunking around. Not as precise as the Marine team but still very impressive. Well Done!
Most likely a just a show and presentation, the inclusion of a color guard is not the usual for a competition involving Armed Exhibition routines. Its got be nerve racking though to have dropped a rifle during that level of ceremony. I know what it like to do competition rifle but never dropped one, so i was lucky. The hardest ones are the over the shoulder drops. If you dont time it right it will just roll right off your catching hand and hit the deck.
the stuff they do is really sharp but not really all taht hard. The handoffs are the hard part espically around that guy I wouldnt trust myself to do that.
im joining the navy so i love the navy to death but wut they don't show is later on for this presentation they drop a rifle. i know sum1 who was on this drill team. but still GO NAVY!!!
I like so much!!
can you teach me? or can I being a part of thats ?

All the services DT are impressive. There are only so many things you can do with a rifle. It's the choreography that gets the crowds oooohing.

Eh, BS. You're just upset cause the Marines own all the other branches in pretty much everything.

Army brat and ex drill corp. From what I have seen of the different military drill corps - the Navy has the most precision.
