  • People use to terrified of dentist, because their procedures seems terrible but they do all the procedures after giving sedatives and you will not feel anything. But after those procedures, you will have a beautiful smile.

  • Hi, in the case shown, I presume that crown lengthening was done for #21 to raise the gingival margin to match that of the implant at #11?

  • @pottermonster

Hi, no crown lengthening was done. Only the central incisors were treated. One with implant replacement and the other with conventional crown. The preparation and crown design was used to help create a harmony and alignment between teeth and gum tissue level. Dr. Kazemi

  • From 700 B.C humans have used teeth made out of wood, ivory, gold tipped ivory and even human teeth. There were many accounts of scavengers scouring the battlefields of the Napoleonic wars pulling teeth from the dead soldiers to sell on.

  • great case doc.....

  • amazing how they can fix anything no matter what :) With patience and time!

  • I'm 28 and about a year and a half ago I had 5 implants placed. And yes they cost me about 2500 a piece. I have excellent teeth but I was born with a condition called hypodontia. Is basically means that I'm born with an incomplete set of teeth. I miss a total of 9 of my adult teeth and they gave me 5 implants to fill gaps. They actually had to pul three milk molars which had remained since there were no adult teeth underneath. Just wanted to say that is isn't always due to bad teeth. Love them

  • at least they went to the dentist

  • I'm not saying the work isn't great but the amount of money dentist charge makes it impossible for working class people to ever get treatment. Trust me I know I received a $19,000 estimate from two diffrent denstist, it's an impossible feat for me, but I guess if I had a lot of money maybe I could find a dentist.

  • @cerce34

Sure, I completely understand. It is not an inexpensive treatment. One option is to stage your treatment and come up with a feasible long term payment plan option. Your dentist should be able to discuss such plans to make it possible. We have done that for many patients in DC area where we are, and has provided them great service.

  • @kazemioralsurgery I live in DC and I'm terrified of dentists.. I keep prolonging this issue but I've messed up my teeth so bad.. And the longer I wait the worse it's getting and I know it.. I've been living with toothaches for almost 4 months now because I'm absolutely horrified and honestly cannot afford to pay for the whole thing at once.. but also doubt that I'd have the guts to go back to the dentist. Is it possible to get everything done in one or two visits?

  • This will only work if you have a ton of money

  • @cerce34

Actually more the result of good skills, knowledge, and materials-

  • I wasn't sure about my procedure but I got some good info on plasticsurgerymadeeasy (.) com

  • Is a bone gragt (ridge augmentation) possible after an implant has been placed? It has two been years, and some post-surgery bone loss has resulted in undesirable aesthetics. Thanks!

  • @asparch

Extremely difficult if not impossible. If there is thining or loss of bone in a narrow zone on side of implant, it may be possible, but to increase bone overall around it is not. Depending on the situation, some soft tissue grafting or re-doing the crown may be helpful to improve aesthetics. If these are not possible, and the there is a significant issue, then removal along with restoration of the bone / tissue and re-implantation may be the only option.

  • Will you come to visit Serbia?
