I had a PE teacher who likely viewed himself as a de-facto security guard and enforcer of discipline, and he was often disruptive at large assemblies like this. Disruptive in that at some points he would ask the speaker to pause while he addressed certain students in the crowd to confront them about their behavior, but NOTHING so extreme as Coach Hines! I think i my real PE teacher were anything like this he would actually be entertaining and I'd love to come to his class!
