depends on what you do. You can do a different style of exercise each day...ie. Cardio, strength training, yoga, plyometrics, kick boxing, stretching, etc... So the most important thing is to do what is challenging and feels good. Rest when you need it.~ahmad
Man help me out: At the beginning of May I started going to the gym, kept it up till 23 of july then I went on vacation and stopped working for 1 month didn't loose any muscle just some of my strength and stamina. Now I started school again so I don't have time to go to the gym as I once did. I think I am starting to loose muscle now. What can I do to preserve what I gained? Can you give me like a weekly exercise routine that I can do at home with no weights and that doesn't take much time.
If you can begin in your spare time doing my day 1-day 30 workout clips. You should also really make sure you intake good protein. Let talk some more. Have you read the ebook yet?~ahmad
ok so u say I should be doing ur day to day workout? like let's say I start tomorow, I start with day 1 and then just keep one with day 2 day 3 etc? No I haven't read it yet.
Hello Ahmad I stopped doing strength training and just tone using my own body weight and isolating moves to avoid bulking up.I am maintaining my weight of 214.Now I was wondering would this change affect my metabolism?I do lots of cardio and or dancing.I know your burn more with using dumbells.Any advice.Thank you.Or refer me to a video clip of yours.
Keep your protein a little above average to preserve muscle(muscle is metabolic and will speed up metabolism depending on how much you have) and get in your daily cardio. Do any of my clips for extra muscle fatigue to get that same feeling of being pumped after a weight work out. Just preserve that muscle! Keep the intensity feeling as high as it did when lifting. You can do it:)~ahmad
the best clip I like to really get up a sweat is to do these 3 clips in this order:
1ST DO: EASY week one cardio
2ND DO: WEEK 5 CARDIO
3RD DO: WEEK 7 CARDIO do one, rest 20-30 seconds then move to the next clip. Circle through them for a full 20-30 minutes for the next 5-7 days... try 1-2 times daily...with EXTRA WHEN YOU CAN :)
perfect...you are doing it right. Always look for the change. If you notice something fitting snug again, make your workouts more intense and your eating smarter. Proud of you :)~ahmad
I teach toning classes and I've found alot of new innovative moves in your videos. Keep up the good work and I'll try to promote your videos to friends, family, and people who take my class. One love.
your body is always burning some sort of calories just from normal bodily functions. If you're sweating due to exercise, then your rate of calories that you burn off will be more...~ahmad
It can be both... but of course you sweat more depending on climate, level of fitness, intensity...etc... really it is all about deep tissue toxin removal.:)~ahmad
Yes that's a very good question why do some people tend to sweat more than others. Is that a bad thing? Within a half hour I'll be drenched. Is it because our bodies are just getting rid of excess water?
never a bad thing...just hydrate to make sure you don't lose too much. The goal with sweating is to remove the toxins...its not so much about weightloss or calorie burn. Fewer toxins in the body mean a healthier body. Sweating is best for your body when done in humidy levels LESS THAN 70%. Use caution when working out on a humid day.~ahmad
lol what about sweating just from standing in the heat? i can stand in 60 degree weather and sweat why do i sweat so much more then other people? im overweight yea but people more overweight then me sweat less
A few trivia facts for you to ponder... We all genetically are born with a different number of sweat glands. How many sweat gland you have is based on heredity and genetics. Another fact, females have more than men, but men's fewer sweat glands are normally more active which is why men tend to sweat more. Having extra body fat is like having more insulation...you brain signals your body to regulate temperature. Blood flow moves closer to skin, which causes the sweat gland activation...~ahmad
I am learning that it is very important!...and Im finding when I work out..I Like to sweat..i like how it makes me feels...I know Im getting my best cardio in!!...thanks for sharing!
Thanks for that feedback. I always like to hear what others think about their workouts. You're doing it smart...going after what feels right is the best approach with all of this...~ahmad
