I'm at a crossroads with Tomino's new endings...I didn't like Zeta's New Translation endings, but Quess and Hathaway were the most annoying characters in Char's Counterattack, so I find this ending to be much better.

That and I think Hathaway's Flash was fucked up.

@AlfredLee0425 , actually , i found that Quess's emotional involvement with certin CCA men was chaotic , she bounced from char to amuro then to char again to amuro again then finally to hathaway but only after he was shot down , useually with the case of char and amuro it was when other female characters were present then i found quess would get aggressive , honestly i think this makes for a good discussion

@Taov001 yes, from CCA we can know that Char see Lalah as his mother. To Amuro, Lalah is a confidant. In U.C.0087 both Char and Amuro take Four and Kamille's case as continuation of the tragedy and tried to stop this(however in many video games Four can be a ally of A.E.U.G, which is a good thing). So it surprised me when I watch CCA and find that Char still bear grudge with Amuro.

It's amazing to see that someone in Canada, I mean in western country, knows such a lot information about Gundam :)

@AlfredLee0425 thank you :) i very rarely get to have these conversations with people about gundam and its events and am glad that i get to share my thoughts on a better level , kamille and fours case to char and amuro being very tragic as it was as char said " and history repeats itself " , im not surprized that char would still hold the grudge and quite honestly i think it was his whole reason to continue fighting in hopes that he would settle things with amuro

HOWEVER, that's for the novel series. The anime series Amuro and Char are considered Missing in Action. What I would give to see another series with those two after Unicorn is finished considering Tomino's writing is the best out of all the Gundam story writers.

Tomino once stated that if he could rewrite Amuro's ending, he would do it in a heartbeat considering killing off Amuro was one of the decisions he felt was a bad move on his part as he wasn't expecting Gundam series to last for so long. I think this is one of his ways of putting his idea to work. If only it were canonical. It would have been great to see Amuro alive and kicking in the Unicorn series.

I had the idea once about what if they rammed a capital ship into axis to change it's course (noone has to dies either since I've seen capital ships used to ram each other on autopilot before.)

It is unknown whether or not Tomino, who directed this short, the only Evolve piece he had a direct hand in, too, intended for this, in his better, less depressed mindset, to replace Quess' original fate in CCA, but it clearly takes place during the film and not in the novelization, since Amuro's piloting the Nu and not the Hi Nu as in the novels.
