you can't comprehend the amount of fire duty these guys have had since the late 60's until you see the neighborhoods they get jobs in. unbelievable fire potential. if you're gonna buff anywhere visit the guys at 123 truck, 111 truck, R2, and 103 truck. all standup guys, always looking for work. you'll definitely get your fill.

Still riding is actually a documentary on the FDNY Rescues. Produced by Tom downey (cousin of legendary R2 Capt. Ray Downey). As mentioned below someone sells copies on ebay (look 5 posts down). I do, however, highly recommend the book THE LAST MEN OUT by Tom Downey. It is more or less a more in depth version of the documentary, with a lot of FDNY/Rescue co. history. From the eyes of the R2 Firemen. If reading about the fires in that book won't make you feel the heat, then only real flames will.

The Last Men Out is a phenomenal book. Goes back to the legendary days of Fred Gallagher to now. I beleive Ruvolo is still the captain over there now. But a lot of new guys. Really nice guys though.

"Still Riding" is a documentary that aired on TLC on the 1-year anniversary of 9-11. It's unfortunately not available on home video. Apologies, as I didn't realize the origin of these clips was such a mystery to many who have viewed them. Hopefully the show will be on the internet in its entirety in the near future. It really is better than all the others. . .
