I think you should stay true to Zoe! Check out some of the early interviews of Salma Hayek. She talks about how it was hard at first to find gigs because of her accent too but she stayed true to herself (even though her scene in Desperado kind of helped that....) mmm anyways, yeah stay true to yourself!

FYI: You should never have to conceal who you are inside, no matter where you have come from. So if you conceal your accent before hand and not show them how well you can hide it.. The more you can show yourself to whom ever the more impressed they should be with the skill it takes to conceal an accent.
