It's not your regular pop music video. That's why it sticks out in my mind, and tops my charts for fav music video. The man is completely lost in his own world, in what seems like a negative sense. He marches forward, confused and determined. Striked down by anything in his way, and he just keeps going. It's not until he removes his over coat and just embraces himself + the moment and is just with what is that he is able to confront the on coming traffic.

UK, Aus, NZ, Japan, South Africa, Singapore, India, Pakistan, etc, all drive on the left. It's pretty much all the former British Empire countries plus Japan that do so.

Plus videos are basically a way of spreading interest in a song or album. So they're just denying themselves free advertising by taking it down.

These videos generate viewers who see the real purpose of most capitalistic mass medium...product advertising. So despite my earlier rant, I do understand the reasons of copywrite control. Copywrit work does eventually become public domain but in this day, with all the work out there not generating money, it should be made public sooner, I think.

noo I love it, but I think that the end puts the whole video into context. It seems, to me at least, that the tunnel represents the man's journey through life. He's constantly being hurt and ignored. When he finally stops going along with the traffic, he breaks free from the tyranny of the majority, and he smiles for the first time. Without the ending, it loses a vital part of the message. Also, the song abruptly stops.
