Man I've got the worst luck ever. I did not know about HP recalling the graphics card and now the desktop won't start up, guess what? Blue Screen. it's really frustration, I was in Japan and when I came back the "chainsaw" sound started. Anyone know how can I fix this problem?

I just bought 7 of these graphics card at the flea market for $37 bucks as untested earlier today just about 2 hours ago. I Installed the first one and it worked with no problem, the 2nd and the 3rd ones both made noise due to GPU fan failure, the other 4 I will test them right now after posting this comment.

Oh man... My fan was already noisy. Out of sudden it started rattling, and now I have a jet plane on crack in my chamber. It works, but the noise is incredible.

True that, with the new recalled card there has been no problems, but i put in a secondary cooling fan as well just to asure i didnt get the same problem...

I have the same pavilion M9000, gladly the graphic card wasn't noisy! but it had a fucking faulty core and had to replace it by myself! so that's it, no more pre-built PC in my life! custom built PC FTW!

Ha! I have the same problem. Funny how HP didn't notify me of the recall. This is the first I've heard of it. I will follow your link and get my new card. Thanks!.......ALOT! It's rattling right now.

@lucnfs yes, my hp desktop had that problem, and wen i got it back the fan was a differendt shabe

It took 3 days using the advanced plan too get the new card, then i sent back my old one and the $65 deductd from my credit card account was refunded back to my account once they received the p.o.s. card. Good luck, over-all very easy process
