So y'know the way in Halo 3 in co-op campaign one player was Master Chief, one was The Arbiter and the other two were elites? Then in Reach everyone was a spartan? Well how will it work in Halo: CEA? Will one player be MC and the rest marines? Can anyone shed any light on that?

@Ninjatoast96 if you ever played halo 1, the second player in splitscreen looked like MC aswell. Bare in mind, all the spartans in Chief's squad looked the same cept size. They all had same colored armor and same looking armor. Unlike in reach which has spartan 2s cept jorge, and anyway they were abit different kind of spartans.

So there is no point in bringing halo wars up because its different company that made it and it was a 'test' of halo in RTS mode on consoles, and it did it extremely well...one of the best if not the only RTS game on consoles that has good controls. truth is, it took one console generation to make a sucky sequel for PD

@thesatanic6 i think its just your personal opinion that PD would be better than Halo in quality, yet again twice the amount of people thing halo is better in quality than PD. 2.5m sold for pd, 5m sold for halo worldwide.

Popularity is based on quality, would someone buy a car that breaks down when you start it rather than buying a car that works? the principle is the same. I dont think it has much difference in selling when PD was released 1 year earlier than Halo.

Pretty much everything they told or showed was new to me, sure i knew there will be new graphics engine but i had never seen Guilty Spark-map with it. And all the yadda yadda they talked about was pretty revealing! Its more fun to watch video where they tell about it rather than read the same thing alone in the darkness of my nerdcave.

Halo deserves its publicity, it has succeeded for a long time now.

@thesatanic6 if you heard what they talked about in the panel, it was about what kind of project this was. They had hundreds of questions to answer to the community like "will there be new animations? NO!" stuff and to explain why no gameplay changes.

Halo is no longer just a game, its a lifestyle xD anyway, splitscreen sux, have you seen how small the view is? id rather play with my friend through the live together than on same xbox. we dont always have time to meet up for a night of play.

B.all have to have an xbox 360 (half of my friend have a ps3 or nether)

C.all have to have xbox live gold

D.all have to have a mic

we never have 8 diffrend copys of the same game

getting 4 controllers and 1 game is much easyer and alot more social

thats why splitscreen gaming is alot better than gaming over the internet

@Otakahunt co op only last you so long there is no replay value in it..and you can do that splitscreen without paying 120 dollars for the same game(and thats only 2 player)

playing with only one of my friends works best in offline multiplayer (in games that are made for it)

playing halo online with only one of my friends is horrible the maps are way to big for that it takes like 5 minutes just to get one kill

@thesatanic6 coop in halo is max 4 player. :o no replay value for YOU. ive played thro the campaign of reach and H3 multiple times with my friend. because we like those games. theres also campaign challenges on reach sometimes, and they are fun to do together even some of them are too hard to solo.

There is value for sure :D and firefight, let alone your own character you can customize and look unique. Might not be big deal for you but we like to look different.

firefight is okay but again you doing the same thing over and over...stand in the same spot and kill enemys(dosnt even let you move around)

if you compare it to games like future perfect than you have 100 of characters to play with and infinitly more customizable multiplayer matches with bots
