@mattjostr It's funny (partly) because it's a classic line of dialogue, quoted and repeated many times since it was first produced. Blazing Saddles and City Slickers are two that immediately come to mind. "We don't need no stinkin' badges" is sort of along the Bogart line, "here's looking at you, kid," in that it's been part of the lexicon for a very long time. It's also funny because of the delivery: that blank stare, the half-joking deception in his tone, etc.
