Looking for some Help!

I have been in the page properties messing around in the links category, also I have been messing around in the behaviours panel but nothing I do seems to resolve my problem which is this, how do you have a link a different colour from the rest so a visitor to your site can easily identify which page they are on. Page properties change the links as a whole and not individual. If any1 can help click reply to the right of this message ty, Mark from Scotland

well i mean u can put a roll over link onto it and it will chang the color and can place a underline on it... idk if thats wat ur askin for but wen u put your mouse over top of a single link it will show up that ur heading that way... if u mean that theyv already gone to the page u can put a header on there.. idk if this helps but then again this is all i could think of from ur description

it's called css (cascading style sheets) you can furthur edit ur page with css and make it look very nice. want me to teach you?

Rather than continuing to drag your text layer as he did, you can just type in 100% for the width and it'd make it the same width as the page.

Oh, and make sure when you are typing "Welcome to my site" you spell it "site" not "sight" lol!

Not really HTML is easy to learn it will take you atleast 2 months to learn HTML.

Java,C+,C++,RUBY,PHP,VBS take longer to learn.

go to the website w3schools they have a really good tutorial on HTML and other programming languages. Also you could search HTML tutorials on Google and it will come up with some good sites for beginners on the first page

people teh reason the links wont work is because when the browser is open and you click the link it looks for something that hasnt been made or cant be found simply open another blank html doc and put what you want on it and save it . then with the home link for example after you make the home html doc highlight the link and next to where you type the link there should be a folder click that and find the home html doc and then save and test it out! the maker of this tut didnt explain alot

i cant believe you did a dreamweaver tutorial and skipped straight passed the alternate txt saying "i nvr fill any of this in".....filling in the alternate txt should be done EVERY time you insert an image etc. You obviously just play around with dreamweaver for a laugh, which is fair enough....but leave the tutorial to those who know what they are doing

I would slao advise any1 that is just starting out in dreamweaver to start learning CSS (Industry Standard) for laying out your pages! using tables is so 90's!!!

True, the alternate text is important to do. It tells what the object is, if the browser doesn't support the object, and it also tells what the object is when you roll your mouse over.

If you use the WYSIWYG functions on DW always check your code later as line breaks get inserted and this bloats your code. Also the design view looks a bit weird on DW and looks different when viewed in a browser for some reason.
