People of the U.S. are too obsessed with ethinicity. However, it's Europeans that set up that system. The British, the major power, that set the foundation for culture in the U.S. The British also did the same system of divide and conquer in every place they landed. Actually all Europeans did but the British moreso. They put light against dark and raped the people and the lands. The U.S. is just more vocal about it but other "AMERICAN" countries have the same issues.

A perspective you are entitled to. I believe the issue is not race/skin colour - superficial at best. Man is but one race - the human race. I firmly believe, however, that the greatest attrocity is a lack of education and its natural fallout -ignorance, a need for divisiveness. The best motivator for change is education, which will engender less overall inter species strife. Social inequity creates chaos, not the colour of one's skin. We will agree to disagree, amicably.

I liked your comment, and i do agree with you on one race...in fact, i think that there was no race from the beginning whatsoever...what if the way we look depends only on the area we live in. Actually I did hear an interview on NPR or one of those networks and she does identify equally with her afro-hispanic background as well. How could she not. As to her husband and herself having sex?
