With 98 published Biggles books, they couldn't come up with a movie off of one of them? I mean, come ON... BTW, Biggles Flies East would have been the best choice.
Exactly! Sin City was a huge success as an episodic movie, and I think some of Biggles' WWI adventures tackled in a similar way would be great! You know, without the comic book feel to them.
I love the books this is random and odd and pathetic, but funny. They should make a proper Biggles movie, it could be awesome. The need someone small with floppy brown hair to play Algy =D
They did the same thing with "Doc Savage" that they did with this film: take the legend and make it campy ala the Batman TV Series! It had its moments but they could have made the characters more interesting and less "funny."
Biggles books are wicked, this looks awful. Biggles isn't meant to be of vague sexual orientatation, and time travel? and that song? And where was Algy? What would Captain W. E. say about that huh?
I read the books and love them, and i have read the book of this movie but watching this trailer biggles doesn't seem cast very well. I have read enough of the books to get a good idea of what kind of person biggles is and that actor doesn't quite fit. However having not seen the movie i am hopefully wrong. I just wish they made a biggles movie that was set during WWI entirely.
Discovered this film by accident, and now it's my favorite. :)

I remember Biggle's "time twin" saying "I say let's kick some ass, Old Boy!" It was hokey but fun.

Great Movie. Great Soundtrack. Pity there wasn't any sequels using the same actors.
