But we love our son to bits and will fight with every ounce of energy we have so that he could be ours legally. Can I also ask you how long you had to wait for Marielle after you came on the masterlist in the Philippines? We are preparing ourselves for a long waiting time.
I can't remember the exact timeline, but when we checked on the progress w/ the Philippines, we were #4 on their list in 4/06. In 6/06, we received Marielle's referral and then we were able to bring her home in 11/06. It is a long wait, but once you bring your child home, it's so worth it!
