Would listing off the names of the five Great Lakes, without using the word "Lake" itself have been considered an illegal clue? If not, Constance should've done that.
This winner's circle has some traps: Things in New York and The Great Lakes are too easy to trap some celebrities...and Constance fell for one of them. But personally, the last two, CANVAS and LOADED are real killers.
For the last one would "an alcoholic" have been a legal clue? At first I was thinking "a drunk person", but on one show "a drunk driver" was given for "things that are smashed", and they realized after the break that smashed and drunk are pretty much the same thing.
Well, the bad news is that Constance gave an illegal clue, but the good news is that they didn't get the last one, so therefore, they wouldn't've won, anyways. Takes away the pain. But I wish these illegal clues just lowered the top prize, unless a part of the subject was read by mistake, and then automatically end the game all together.
Well, my idea would save some time for more commercials. BTW, it's only if part of the subject was read by mistake, EXACTLY! Syllables only lower the top prize.
This USA Network rerun is from 5/6/1992. How do I know this? The USA Network original movie, "Chrome Soldiers", premiered on that same day, according to IMDB.
No, I think that from 92-93, they aired episodes from early 83-late 84, and in 93, they aired episodes from 82, and then in 94, they aired 84-85 episodes. Before any of those periods, they aired 84-88 episodes.
Also, when USA Network premiered the $100K version during the last week of '92, is it true that they started with the 1st week, and went in consistent order until February '95, and that by the time they dropped the show in September '95 they were in May '86 for the second time?

A pallet rack... An empty torpedo tube... a saved video-game file...
Though I definitely wouldn't try those clues on "Pyramid".

For the last one, the best clues are "a deadly gun" or "a dangerous gun" and "ammunition" (one loads the ammunition in).

Whoops! You can tell Constance regretted what she said because she paused after saying "Lake" and knew she was going to get caught.

Well, if the game would end all together, what about the other subjects? They still would need to play through those as well.
