  • what if there was a way to have small, hollow marbles, filled with water, run their water across the wheel so the balls going up are lighter than those going down?

  • if you stop the video at the right spot you will see more balls AND higher on the up side than the down side. So this works only because it is computer generated.

  • why just have a wheel that spins forever? lol

  • genius

  • Without resistance, we can make ANYTHING move forever.

  • but... will it blend?

  • good idea, but you have to try a little bit harder :-)

  • perpetual motion works, but only with no resistence...it can be done with magnets to induce levitation in a vacuum pretty easily

  • why should this be a PP? there isn't even acceleration.

  • LOL look at all the negitive votes.. they don't even wanna think it can be possible..hehehe

poor souls stuck in the dark ages

  • @frank0067 We should have a perpetual motion machine any day now... just as soon as someone figures out how to create a friction-free environment in which the laws of thermodynamics completely and arbitrarily rearrange themselves for the sake of creating a magic pinwheel.

Perpetual motion is an intriguing pipe dream - like asking the universe to trade something for nothing. The only difference between it and Jack's magic beanstalk is that the beanstalk eventually obeyed physics.

  • @MicroMediaInk ya well .. whats tthats saying.. all laes are meant to be broken... may come in to play here..

i think ebay sells some self running motoros .. but this is old news man

suppression is still on if ya buy into the same old government liberal media song

  • hujowe jak nieszczęście

  • IT WOULDN'T WORK LIKE THAT BECAUSE FRICTION EXISTS. An object tends to continue its state of motion unless an outside force (like friction) is applied. So I guess if there was not friction ANYWHERE in that entire mechanism, you could push it once and it would go forever. Too bad even the slipperyest lubes and such have friction...

  • perpetuum cocks for the morons ...

  • It's Against Newton's law, it couldn't be possible because all force at the lower part of the wheel are equilibrates

  • that a fucking great idea for selfworking wheels or an bike wheel asist or smth

  • Poor!

  • LOL

  • There can't be a perpetual motion machine, search for the laws of thermodynamics!

  • does this relly works?

  • But can I use it to drive my car?

  • I want this thingamajig!

  • Intresting

  • The wheel rotates in the wrong direction. This PM's idea was that balls with a longer shoulder (on the right in the video) outweigh those on the left, where they have a shorter shoulder.

  • perpetuum mobiles doesnt exist

  • @MRoesterreicher1 kybalion

  • Sahara music

  • @hassans111 LOL

  • watch?v=_2QgW_sbT3s

  • The only perpetually moving object that we know of nowadays is superfluids, but those take a CRAPLOAD of energy in order to cool 'em down that much.

  • I don't think people get the point of this....

This isn't SUPPOSED to be accurate to the laws of physics

  • Why so many dislikes?? The idea is fun and the music is fuckin awesome!

  • This doesnt work man.....

  • what about air drag ?

  • sweet song :))

  • forget graphics watch this youtube.com/watch?v=N18oCCPdIp0

  • Non Esiste Il Moto Perpetuo!!!!!!!

  • "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction."

In other words, my dear intellectuals....in time all energy will...in time....cancel out and return to its resting state =)

  • As soon as this wheel begins to turn the weight of the balls is greater on the right side than on the left so where is the incentive to turn?

  • STOP THE NERD TALK ARGH MY BRAIN

  • Energy loss! Whith world known materials constructing working perpetum mobile is not possible to do. Sadly. If object is moving wheel, same force is giving to another to go up. In theory. That is why it called perpetum mobile, in theory. But there is downforces, grip, friction etc.

  • @hwdp89 well i mean Thermodynamics laws prevent it from happening true but then how the hell does this work? /watch?v=us7YB7eiOeQ

  • Pause this simulation at any given moment and ull see there are always more balls on the right then in the left. This extra weight counters the persived free energy.

  • I say go for it, better to make them wheels then the music, the wheel will rotate looong before the music gets good.

  • it this never stop??

  • but if the weight and angle of the wheel spokes maybe the force of both balls dropping will keep it going?

  • I like this music.

  • ban this channel

I am ignorant of electric issues and I would like to know how I can do to produce this model electecidad

  • it is not even making sense , because both sides has the same weight .

It doesn't matter if the wheel is solid or not -it only changes the duration and time until it will stop.

  • take this litlle balls and ....whatever!!!

  • This will stop. Click to see 1:20

  • oh my God, it's my idea since i was in school

  • how do the physics in the game even allow this to begin with?!

  • aside from the fact that the balls are moving together, the counterforce created when the ball on the bottom slams against the opposite wall would stop the wheel

  • If you used a really heavy wheel, then it would act as a flywheel and you would only need one ball. Ball goes down, ball is raised back up. NO matter what you do, you get zero net energy over the cycle.

  • did he died

  • well if this was real big wheels wouldnt need energy! just imagine the passengers as the balls =)

  • as long as we forget gravity and physics this should work

  • Comment removed

  • just make it and we'll see...

  • i laughed so hard beacuse it fits the music

  • Nice idea but never would work

  • Newton -> FAIL!  lol

  • this would probably work if magnets were used to keep the balls moving

  • the simpelest "Perpetuum Mobile" is just a wheel... and as is prooven thousands of times before... it eventualy stopps..

  • @jizburg ... Espheres NOT wheels

  • @BlingsFashion i did not say anything about THIS "Perpetuum Mobile" i said that the SIMPLEST Perpetuum Mobile is a wheel.. or for that matter.. a spinning thing in deep space. witch even that eventualy stopps.. beacause of... FRICTION

  • @jizburg friction in deep space? bwahahahhaha

  • @weewex yes. even in deep space there is a few particles here and there that it will hit and cause friction and eventualy stop. YES it will take a fuckton of years before that happends but it is till not an ETERNAL movement. so it is not a Perpetuum Mobile

  • @jizburg And even though an object moving in a TOTAL vacuum COULD theoretically move forever, it would only ever have the energy it was initially given. I think some of these people are confusing motion that is perpetual, with "PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINES!!!" Like the kind you can probably order from Nexus magazine next to the immortality bracelets.

  • @8earthchild8 yes. thank you.

  • if only we could control gravity: decreasing it on the right-hand side of the wheel with corresponding increasing on the left-hand side of the wheel. then only it would work!

    \grin\

  • @tdukhovny

That still wouldn't be perpetual motion.

  • Its animated

  • @thenachoking1 duh its an example

  • There are fewer ball on the lift side than the lifted side, yeah that's gonna work...

  • not work able

  • can you make a computer model of a gravity wheel I came up with?

  • Im sorry , the is trucco....... is impossibol, the are is inganno..I see in the moment..the booll.. when riparte il movimento.. Im sorry i do not inghisch..do tradution in italin,,,,,,,,,,,Per mè che ho visionato il video è un foto montaggio... il moto perpetuo non esiste,,ciao ciao da Carlo Bramanti della Contea di Modica.

  • This is never.

  • know way this is never gonna work

  • impossible. the force it takes to pull those balls up to the top to fall down again is equal to the force of each one falling again. then you deal with friction in the bearing and fluid-dynamics of our air (yes air is technically a fluid!)

  • @powermaks Hmm, what if it would be in void (no air friction), and the wheel held on magnets (again no friction)? :S

  • @Nohus903 if it were in a complete vacuum, with magnetic bearing (for levitation) then it might work. but subatomic partials might interfere. also, magnets will eventually lose magnetism. this "perpetuation" would be useless anyway because the second you try to harness it, it will slow down and stop.

  • @powermaks Well just look at some stones in space. They turn and turn in place. If you'd make something turn fast in space it would turn fast indefinitely. But you are right, it's useless as trying to harvest the energy would slow it down. But it's working forever with no power supply anyway so sounds like perpetuum mobile.

  • This isnt even a perpetuum mobile. A perpetuum mobile would rotate faster and faster over time. Theoretically the video is not impossible since the wheel just needs to be started and if there is no resistance at all (remember: theoretically!) it would keep on rotating :P

  • thats shit!

  • @JBhighJeff yep agree, how the hell am I suppossed to masturbate to this???

  • It works, I now put one in my car.

  • 1.It's true and has the sense that things are moving in the world. 2.Everything that moves is moved by something. 3.In this they can proceed ad infinitum . 4.Must admit that there is anything that moves without being moved by anything, a first mover is God.

  • Nao vai funcionar

  • A normal wheel would spin longer.

  • how do half of people like this?

  • ____ w w w diymagneticmotor com has FREE energy INFO ____

  • it cannot be rotated because it has the same weight on both sides.

  • @sachiboy100 see the curves? the force of the fall on the left lifts the right which slides in giving it force... so this "would" work other than the friction so

  • @JlkJlk18000 perpetual motion is impossible.. this "wouldn't" work because there are more balls packed closer together in the middle then on the outside therefore it would just equal out and do nothing. so basically there is equal weight on both sides.

  • @sachiboy100 no, it cannot accelerate, other than negatively due to friction. A bicycle wheel has the same mass on both sides and it still spins because of the force applied to it. Newton's laws, bud.

  • @sachiboy100 but the ball on the other side would be closer to the pivot the one falling down would be just far enough and just far enough out ward that it would turn it the small amount needed to drop the next ball

  • @sachiboy100 except that the balls on the top are closer to the pivot and the balls on the bottom are off slight enough to push it

  • i always fuck to this music!

  • that would sell like hotcakes in stores that sell desk supplies.

  • Most effective Perpetuums are Clocks with a pendelum(?). I`m sure, its possible to create some who run for years and years. BUT, as everybody knows, Perpetuums are at the moment not possible to make.

  • the murmels make a great fuck ^^

  • imposibble

  • it is not like that every time more weight is concentrated at the bottom

  • Comment removed

  • So simple to build! Why not make a working model, rather than this animation?

  • @PaulMurrayCanberra Nobody stops you.

  • @Nohus903 My point being - if this actually worked, then the world would be a very, very different place. If it actually worked, they wouldn't need a mocked-up CGI movie.

  • boring

  • someone need a basic course in physics

  • @ehypersonic and someone should read de description of the videos before posting

  • If you visualize the wheel as 2 sections, a left side and a right side, through-out the video, you will notice that the balls are well balanced and proportioned to both sides of the wheel, inner and outer. You can see the only energy displacement is in the loss of friction at the axle, wind resistance and the balls moving in and out might actually cause some energy loss. You'd have better luck with a wheel without balls. :)

  • Let's say you have an environment where there is no friction, no gravity, no dark matter, or any kind of radiation. If you used energy from the muscle's in your arm or from an electric motor to start a wheel spinning, it would spin at that rate until something stopped it. If you then attached an alternator (generator motor) with no energy loss to the axle and collected the energy, you would regain the energy you initially put into it. :) There is no way to gain.

  • Este modelo não faz sentido. Não funciona.

  • Dude. Would you please use your talents for something useful? You need to consider friction, gravity and wind resistance. Technically, if you spun a simple wheel in the middle of the universe where nothing was tugging at it, it would spin forever. On Earth, you can't do that. :)

  • Perpetuum is perpetual. It is NOT 'free energy'. Lots of things are perpetual. Even .gif's. That doesn't make them free energy, does it?

  • Perpetual machines don´t exist!!!

  • @kill600 Who's claiming that it does???

  • @LarryH54 The name of the video is "Perpetuum" in latin is what?

  • The secret to making this work is the music. I hear carnival music works even better.

  • Even with absolute zero friction it won't work.

  • @1971SuperLead your right but i do know how to make a perpetual motion machine...if youd like details pm me with either skype, ts3 or vent info and ill help you understand i cant fit it in a text bubble here on youtube.

i also know how to create a completely safe hydrogen booster (a device that creates hydrogen to burn as a fuel additive burning cleaner and more fuel efficient) sadly that also must be on a private line.

  • @skilletfan1415up You can't get more energy out of a machine then you put into it. However, there is an endless supply of energy! Solar, thermal, wind, etc.

Another source of endless energy is the mind. The right mind that is. The spiritual mind never sleeps.

  • What the fuck is that music?...

  • Now, how about an actual model instead of a computer generated model.

  • Una pregunta...se supone que produce trabajo?

( necesito hacer un experimento de fisica )

  • I designed a free ethernal engine in order to stop the 300 men that are trying to make us all their slaves by putting their hands over the entire planet all banks , every inch of land all laws written only serve the richer . You can see my model of perpetuummobile it at : link : = leviathan.host-ed.net =

  • the dot's keep fucking moving. How am I supposed to connect them?

  • Great design, one day we will have perpetual motion. Don't listen to these so called "scientists"

  • ESTO DENTRO DE MI IGNORANCIA, Y ES SOLO UNA OPINION, PERO NO ES PERPETUO SINO CONTINUO, POR QUE EN ALGUN MOMENTO SE DEBERA HACER UN MANTENIMIENTO, PARA REPARAR PIEZAS QUE POR EL USO Y EL TIEMPO, SUFRIRAN ALGUN DESGASTE.

    ATTE VITTIN ABARZA

  • LOS ABUELOS AN INVENTADO ALGO.........QUE NUNCA SE PARE.

  • falso, y la fuerza centripeta?

  • I love the concept; perhaps if there was a way to drop two balls while lifting only one; would add more power...

    It's a great design though!

    ^_~

  • do this work?

  • TO ALL PPL: A PERPETUUM MOBILE ISN'T POSSIBLE! IF THERE IS A PERPETUUM MOBILE, ALL NATURE LAWS WOULD BE BROKEN! AND IT'S TESTED SO MUCH AND FINALLY THE MACHINE STOPS!!!...........

  • @War4Skills I saw one of these working continuously, with no input other than gravity, 17 years ago at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. They used a plexiglass disk with 12 steel balls on rails. It was an example of GRAVITY power, and also explains why a pedulum works continuously. Perpetual motion is how the universe works. When planets stop rotating and orbiting, and galaxies, and when atoms and subatomic particles stop spinning and orbiting, let me know.

  • @Beamshipcaptain

as clear as water this experiment it's a fake couse gravity TAKES DOWN ALL BALLS

  • @pdpM4rc0 Yes, gravity took down all the balls. The balls near the top are pulled by gravity into the hub, THe balls near the bottom are pulled into the rim. THe 45-degree anle of the rails in the plexiglass disk they had as a continuous exhibit at the Franklin Institute in the mid 1990s kept the balls rolling on the rails in a circular pattern. As long as there is gravity, the wheel continued to rotate. This is the theory behid hydroelectric power. Its FREE POWER!

  • when the balls are near the rim, the gravity STILL!!! working on them not only on the central balls, and if you null the gravity, this will become a example of centripetal force, a force will be perpetual if there is not another force that modifies it

  • @pdpM4rc0 That is exactly right. Because of the constant force of gravity, and the imbalance caused by the arrangemnt of balls and the angle they must travel, the wheel is in constant rotation, like a water-wheel in a waterfall, also an example of perpetual motion. That is why Nikola Tesla had the lifelong dream of harnessing Niagara Falls the first hydroelectric power station over a century ago. Niagara Falls shows no sign of drying up. EVER. Is that perpetual enough for you?

  • @Beamshipcaptain When you find a pendulum that swings forever let me know, also let me know when the Earth rotation stops slowing down.

  • @mattymuck The Pendulum at the Boston Museum of Science swings forever. And the Earth is not slowing down. Do electrons slow down in their perpetual orbits and spins. No.

  • @Beamshipcaptain Then that pendulum has an input of energy. Do some reading and I think you'll find the rotation of Earth is slowing. Comparing electrons to real objects is absurd, intrinsic properties at a quantum level are far too complicated to use classical analogy.

  • @mattymuck Last time I checked, electrons are real objects. The universe instead of showing signs of entropy, shows signs of systematized self-organization, or NEG-entropy. Read ORDER OUT OF CHAOS(1984), by 1977 Nobel for Chemistry winner, Ilya Prigogine.

  • @Beamshipcaptain If you know a lot, you'll know real sized objects behave much differently to objects on a planck scale. Negative entropy of a system or surroundings is possible, not of the universe however. If you are referring to entropy mathematically it can not be negative, S = k*ln(omega) where omega is > or = to 1 and k is the boltzmann constant.

  • @Beamshipcaptain 1) The pendulum does not swing forever. It just swings for a long time. 2) The earth is slowing down, as a result of the tides. Eventually it will be tidally locked with the moon. 3) Electrons do not actually "orbit" the nucleus. Your physics is about 100 or so years out of date.

  • @War4Skills years ago most of people said 'it's impossible to create flying object which is heavier then oxygen!"...

  • @Delurr Now if you count the balls, there are 3 balls going down and simultaneously 4 balls trying to get up. Though the 3 balls have a better leverage than the 4 balls, they still produce less kinetic energy than the 4 balls need. Feel free to do all the math, and you'll understand that why it doesn't work.

  • @War4Skills centuries ago youtube was impossible.

  • @War4Skills so not true Xb, a perpetuum mobile is possible in a vaccuum area

  • @War4Skills You mean the third density newtonian physics..?! LOL Life itself is perpetual, but if you want to define it like the repetition of the same cycle over and over.. I haven't seen it yet.. not in a closed system, but then again, how closed is our universe since it is part of something greater - multiverses within multiverses..

  • @War4Skills very very good but i believe and probably will it until im in a casket believe that u can take magnets (it take energy to make magnet) and use this potential energy into kinetic energy i have tried many things and i have a break through but i don't want to post it on you-tube cus i think Ford and GM with kill me cus its for cars

magnets last for 400 years and it will use this energy spinning at 3900 RPMS for 300 to 400 years or the life of magnet only down side is i u cant use metal

  • @War4Skills This does not break any nature law. This is called "the power of gravity".

  • @War4Skills Except for the ocean. ALL CAPS!

  • @War4Skills

    Word is working perpetuum mobile.

  • This method does not work. Its moment of inertia is a oval, and not a circle, so it does not rotate freely
