  • I sense zero "tension between the performers", despite what the mst3kinfo site says. Could someone has just misinterpreted the lighting and angle on Joel's face as expressions of discontent?

  • Rocketed into the sun that is what I want.

  • Corn Palace lol..

  • What is the tune Tom Servo is doing at the end? Is that the Newlywed game?

  • Leave it to the MST3K men to cheer me up about death. Me, I'd like to be buried near the outskirts of the cemetery and my head stone would be a bench to sit on, like Danny Kaye's.

  • ''...and if everybody ran off a cliff would you do that too?!'' XD

  • Awww. "Why don't you just not die?" With all their wisecracking, the bots still seem innocent in some aspects. I wanna hug them.

(And when I die, my family is to dispose of my corpse in the cheapest, most environmentally-friendly way possible, then have a nacho party.)

  • @AniRemi also how they call each other honey sometimes (mostly joel) XD

  • @AniRemi Burial at sea. simple, cheap, very rapid decomposition.

  • "Joel, is there anyway I can be mummified and placed next to Stalin?"

    "Sure, honey."

"That's what I want. Mummified and placed next to Stalin."

  • Haha. Whenever people ask me how I feel about death, I tell them I've decided not to die.

  • Servo's mouth is cuuuuuuuute!

  • But I reserved the spot next to Stalin!

  • "At least I have a soul"

    "yeah sure ya do. Anyway...."

Favorite line in all of MST

  • Love the panning!

  • Awesome!

  • I'd have Servo sing my funeral dirge any day. He makes it sound all jazzy.

  • This clip almost makes me sad to watch. If you really listen into it, you can hear the animosity between Joel and the other actors who did the voices of Tom Servo and Crow. Joel at this point had pretty much had it and left the show for good, putting Mike Nelson in his place.

  • What animosity? All I hear is a nice father-and-bot moment.

  • There's no animosity, Joel is just annoyed that the bots have a point that they'll be alive long after he dies. Joel left the show because he didn't wanna be typecast.

  • From the interviews I've read, there was no real animosity on the show. He has gone on record saying that he'd love to do the show again with everyone else. He said he just sorta felt he had to take a different route in his career. He said he didn't WANT to leave, it was more like he felt he HAD to.

  • @Redbob86 From what I understand, Joel and Jim Mallon argued quite a bit, and he left, but regretted it.

  • @bandontherun74 There wasn't any animosity between Joel and the actors, it was between Joel and series producer Jim Mallon over the direction the series was going in. Joel and Trace Beaulieu [Crow] are still working together on Cinematic Titanic.

  • Dignity schmignity

  • i find the whole end discussion sort of sweet.

  • I think this clip epitomizes how much of a "father" Joel was to the bots.

  • Mummified and next to Stalin!

  • "sure Honey", LOL

  • There's a "Mummified Stalin" at my board, now I know his origin!

  • im sorry, it creeps me out a tiny bit whenever Joel calls Crow or Tom "honey"

  • Well, they are his "Children"

And Tom calls his fellow crew members "honey" all the time.

  • Personally I love it. But then again, I find Joel kind of swishy in general -- and I like it that way.

  • "Dignity, shimgnity, I want elephants and lots of 'em"

    Classic Tom

  • Love it. What was Tom singing at the end?

  • The theme song to the tv show Family Affair.

  • His own upbeat version of the funeral march. :)

  • Incorporating the MY 3 SONS theme in honor of Barbra Garland.
