Mixon killed the 1st 2 officers during a routine traffic stop because he knew once they ran his name through the computer, they'd realize he was wanted for violating parole and raping a 12- year- old girl, and he knew what happens to pedophiles in prison. The other 2 officers were killed when they went to Mixon's apartment to arrest him for it, and he opened fire on them before he himself was killed by them and sent to Hell where he belongs.

The funeral that followed this incident cost the taxpayers millions of taxpayers dollars that could have been spent on education, housing, food for the poor. I don't remember the number, but it was like 5,000-10,000 police officers that were paid to attend this funeral. What an waste of taxpayers money. I remember seeing 5-10 Police helicopters in the air for a flyby of the funeral.

Even if he is one, the only thing they're saying is that a large amount of cops are POS too. The only time I've had a gun pointed to my head was by a cop during a traffic stop with not tent and no reason given for the stop plus many more stories. When we left the house as teens my parents wanted us in by a certain time because "you know the police are out there" and no one at my home has a record and we all work and did college. That's in new orlean too. Never worried about "criminals".

I can vouch. I left GA to Miami for college. I was a victim of harassment by the police on three separate occasion and have never been arrested... I would have never dreamed of giving the police a reason to suspect me of anything but I guess this is what happens when you are my color in low income areas..following a violent traffic stop after police suspected my Mini van of being stolen they really degrade you and don't care.. nor do the offer apologizes when there is evidence to support you.

i think its wrong to kill people but i also think its wrong to police a community of people that doesn't want to be. Oakland should be its own country with its own rules, and then we can see how things turn out. The business structure for capitalism in america depends on the police for protection from extortion and other shit, the police are needed to keep the white power structure intact, but until the power structure is destroyed police will be there, oppression is human nature white or black

I'm a white American female, and I never knew what prejudice was until I converted to Islam. The things that have been done to me makes me realize just what the government can do to you. You dont agree with the government, from local government to high up government, your a terrorist. So I can only imagine what happens to the African American community.

If everyone is going to see skin colour, then how is the shooter not racist for shooting 4 police officers who appear to be white? I'd feel alot better if one of them was at least mexican ya know? i think the blacks should stand up for their rights. im white and i would stand with them. the police lie all the time. ive had a cop in my town beat me and try to convince his other officer that i was 18 when im only 16. he came in my house and arrested me for no damn reason. i dont live in the slums and i dont get into trouble but im white. so they even do it to their own damn kind. when rights and freedoms are taken away eventually people revolt.

I agree, Africans were horribly mistreated, but not todays generation, hate unfortunately has been passed on through family ties and the media as well. I mean what a horrible justification, American Indians were raped, tortured and basically wiped out by caucasians. When young black society stops rediculing each other for getting an education and speaking properly then we might see more black men in positions held by whites for so long. Im pretty sure its called "acting white" when young black folks do well in school and thats terrible to hear from your peers when you are just trying to better yourself.
