Firefox 3.6 Release Day - Behind the Scenes

In my oppinion, THE SCROLLBAR should be displayed only on MouseOver, eventually with a quick fading and still some transparency when fully displayed. The webpage content should stay visually fixed no matter if the scrollbar displays or not.

i have here version 3.6.12 under linux ubuntu 10.04 and firefox freezes every 20 seconds with a full hog of cpu on 100%, i cannot scroll or type without a 2-5 seconds lag.

firefox has gradually gotten worse and now its completely unusable.

the best thing of all is: when you try to get help on mozilla pages, they blame it at first on the plugins, you just have to remove them.... then they go on to say your machine is fucked up and at least they say you are simply an idiot...

If you look closely guys - they are not ALL using Macs and I bet you there are even Linux users there. In addition you can run Windows on a Mac anyway (parallels, VMware, etc.)

Don't get me wrong here, I have ALWAYS used Windows (except for my C64 decades ago), so I am not biased. Just honest.

No wonder 3.6 fail, it was designed on Mac's, non of my add-on's worked on 3.6, no ie-tab, no Noia, downgraded every win pc to 3.5.7, everyone is happy!

Hope 3.7 doesn't have the same issues as 3.6.

Your add-ons don't work cuz it just came out. Give it some time. It takes some developers longer to make their apps compatible with newer versions of Fx than it does others.

Sorry but my settings were on autoupdate, never had an issue till now, FF 3.6 is rushed from the oven for "personas"....big deal, I guess that's what Mapple user feel it's amazing...

@TheCrusified Do a Google search for Firefox 3.5.7 download, the first result will take u to the 3.6 download page in like 1000 languages, but on the rt u could see the option to download Firefox 3.5.7
