I have family and friends who work for the NHS, and all of them say that without Asian doctors and nurses, the UK would be up the creek without a paddle. But does he realise that this is reflected greatly in Secondary Schools far more than politicians often perceive it to be? yes the US used to have a constitution that was the envy of the world, but the Bush administration totally eroded it to a crumbling heap. Recently an American comedian on TV talking about the Iraqi people planning to write a constitution suggested "why not give them ours ? it served us for a few hundred years and we dont seem to have any use for it anymore !!!"

He was not trying to win a popularity contest but trying to keep Americans safe from terrorists while upholding the U.S. Constitution. Seems to me, these older democracies should be spear-heading life, liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness in the world and not leaving it up the U.S. to do so. I would like to ignore the US of A Patrick and what is going on there but over the years I have become very conscious of the trend that whatever happens there ultimately affects us in the UK.
