On radio you'll hear "Tower Air China 981 Heavy 9 miles out ILS for Runway 05L".

hey nice video btw... ill but this scanner here UNIDEN BEARCAT 72 xlt... now the problem is i live 20 min from the nearst airport its very small.. but there is another one there got flight to other plases here in denmark then there is the other its 1 hour and 30 min away form here can i hear the tower.. or can i hear the planes i see about 20km over mee`? I'm not sure. If its in tower control space of the airpott you might if you have the right scanner, but you normally need to be 2miles from the tower or nearer

You need to buy a scanner and tune it in to the right airport frequencies e.g. arrival, departure, ground etc, you can find these on the internet. I bought my scanner from CPC in Preston
