  • This is so cool even though I have no idea what he is saying.

  • Gamera is really neat,Gamera is filled with meat,we all love you Gameraaaaa.

  • Gamera vs. Garasharp 1972 would have been a great movie too bad the company got bankrupt. Gamera 4 is a student made movie I think that makes Gamera battling an Albino Gyaos.

  • So he kills a garasharp to share 2 that makes 0 sense but then when do giant monster movies ever make sense

  • Thats a big ass snake gonna need a bigger city

  • they need to finish this film

  • do you mind if you can add subtitles, so we can see what he is saying please?

  • 3:19 What the hell is that thing that looks like a orange headed tweety bird?

  • Garasharp sounds like Guirara a.k.a."The X from outer space."

  • this would be even more awsome if i new some japanese.

  • I've made a version of this. I gave Garasharp an origin in ancient Egypt, and he'll try to eat Gamera at the end, meaning he'll be MUCH larger. Malkopkarappa won't be in it, he will have a different place.

  • WOW someone should make this with today's technology , cgi etc etc. Amazing what one can do with a computer at home.

  • 0:38 now thats a f#(%in monster roar if i ever heard a "terrifyingly intimidating" one.

  • @rockstarbd82 I can even write it:

    GWWOOAAAASHHH!

  • Why couldn't they release this Gamera movie?

  • @eaglesfan226 the company went bankrupt in 1971....the films release date was 1972. they ended up scrapping the project.

  • @eaglesfan226 It never passed post-produccion. The reason why Gamera fell is not only cos the company went bankrupt, but the workers destroyed all the miniatures, puppets and suits, which also explains why Supermonster Gamera was almost all stock footage. Besides, if they release an actual movie about this, only kaiju fans would go there. parents would'nt let they're kids see it and everybody else would tear the film apart. Only us Kaiju fans would give a damn about it...

  • can u imagine how many lost Godzilla projects their are

  • @vader19907 there's like 30

  • This mini-movie, concept for a Gamera move that never was, is included (subtitled) in the Special Features for Shout! Factory's DVD of GAMERA, THE GIANT MONSTER (1965) dropping on May 18, 2010!

  • I like the fact that Garasharp is based of a Cobra/Rattle Snake hybrid. We could always use more snake themed monsters!

  • This is VERY cool!!! Ahh what could have been... a classic in the making!! To bad "Gamera The Brave'' was not the film fans wanted...It had it's moments tho....

  • holy crap i seen that snake monster before sumwhere!

  • Who the heck was the monster at the end????

  • looka like mutated cross breed of a chicen & brocoli

  • lol

  • It sounds DELICIOUS! Maybe it was bred by the Chinese for moo goo gai pan.

  • @stupidityunitenstuff He's called Malcopkarappa, even though he's got other, longer names. Nobody knows what part he would have played, but I classify it as an alien.

  • They should redo the idea for the next Gamera film.

  • In my fan fiction I have Garasharp on Gamera's side since I don't think Gamera has any monster allies.

  • to bad this was never made into a movie, i would so buy a dvd of it.

  • Gamera vs godzilla Gamera will die godzilla will live

  • this movie should have been made and also should replace that stupid 1980 film

  • What I want to know is, why Gamera save the Garasharp Baby's from the army?

  • Because he's the friend of all children, not just human children...

  • I did a websearch for the name of the weird creature at the end of this video - マルコブガラッパ

I found a japanese website about crusteceans called kaisuigyonoyumeichibaDOTjp with a picture of it...it's a crab!

  • マルコブガラッパ translate Malcobkarappa, that thing is a Crab? it looked to me like Guilala.

  • Ooooh..."Gamera Vs Guilala"! That would be totally cool!

But yeah, the website showed a picture of a crab-like crustecean. Obviously the one in this movie would have been vastly mutated and souped-up.

  • Excuse me but I can't understand Japanese. Will someone tell me please what is the orange kaiju at 3:19? A prototype for Garasharp before they wanted him snake like?

  • His name is Malcobkarappa, thats what the text says anyway

  • though it looks like it would have been a step up from the older Gamera films (I like the re-designing of the suit), it's probably a movie best left unmade. what's with the orange bird-thing

  • is this movie real did it come out on video

  • it was never made. the company went bankrupt in the middle of the filming

  • Yah...Garasharp and Gamera have awesome roars.

  • Man, I got to record that Garasharp roar

  • I think this is the only footage left, the studio went bankrupt before they finished and made the stock footage film "Super Monster Gamera" instead.

  • Which sucked... -_-

  • Nope, they never filmed anything. The Garasharp suit was indeed made, but Daiei went bankrupt before filming was to begin. This video is a recreation of what would have been, using motorized models.

  • Wow! That's cool! It would be so cool if they made a whole movie!

  • Well, that makes sense. Too bad they never made it.

  • it would be cool to find the abandoned garasharp suit that was thrown away, I would take it home.

  • i know they could have just fropped that for Gamera vs. Garasharp

  • Unlike the Godzilla franchise, there was only one abandoned project in the Gamera series. I don't know why they tossed this one...it would have been a hit.

  • if i recall,the studio went bankrupt.

  • Oh, there were abandoned Godzilla movies. Godzilla vs. redmoon, Godzilla vs. hedora II, Godzilla vs. Frankenstein, Godzilla vs. the human vapor, Godzilla vs. the devil, and others. not to be sarastic, im just saying

  • there was also a godzilla vs king kong 2 in the works but was abandoned.

  • Where did you get Godzilla vs. The Human Vapor i know that it was supposed to be Frankenstein vs. Human Vapor i even read alleged parts of the script

  • oh yeah thats right

    sorry

  • Owch...Who knew.

  • What do the smoke and strange tail rattle sound do?

  • the gas that garasharp uses stuns gamera so he can use his rattle. his rattle is sonic so that means it would be so freakin loud it would make gameras ear drums explode

  • (just so everyone knows, kaijujapan is my old account) I think that if the movie was made, it would be the best in the series. i wish they would try to make it, they made guardian of the universe after they went bankrupt so why not try again?

  • actually Toho produced the three heisei Gamera movies Daiei sold the rights to gamera to them supposedly in 1983 or 1988 i'm not sure

  • This would have made a GREAT g-movie. and Garasharp has the most awesome roar!!!

  • I found out that the studio originaly wanted Garasharp to have Two heads and later split into two different monsters for Gamera to fight. THAT would be cool.

  • I'm fairly sure that Malcobkarappa (the monster at the very end) is NOT supposed to be Garasharps larval form, but a seperate monster which Gamera would have fought at a different point in the film. Daiei originally annouced this as "Gamera vs Double Monster W" with, I believe, Gamera fighting two new opponents (Garasharp and Malcobkarappa).

  • well maybe, i heard that of a website

  • algun dia aran esta pelicula de gamera

  • Can someone tell me what that beak honeycomb like monster was?

  • im not sure of what his name is. but he's garasharps larva form

  • that is ture

  • It's called Malcobkarappa. It was another monster Gamera would've fought in this film.

  • It sure looks neat. Wonder what the hell it is though, like what type of monster.

  • in Japanese the word Rattlesnake is GARA GARA Hebi. its a giant Cobra/Rattlesnake

  • I ment Malcokarappa

  • oh, sorry, well i dont know. lets just call him a honeycomb monster that came from a cereal box. or maybe a wingless bird?

  • would he be fighting it prior to the bttle with garasharp or after

  • malcobkarappa

  • would have been a great flick.

    2 bad they went bankrupt

  • Definitely would've beat Zigra.

  • I'll drink to that!

  • yeah, but as you can see at 00:55 Garasharp would have been at least 20 times bigger than gamera

  • It would have been an interesting movie, but unfortunately Daiei went bankrupt and did not make it. Garasharp would be like the "King Ghidorah" of the Gamera series.

  • I have a friend who claimes hes seen gamera vs. garasharp but i told him thats impossible because the studios went bankrupt in the middle of making the movie

  • They was FRENCH KISSING!!!

  • Garasharp eats the turtle. I like snakes, but turtle is better in real life. Garasharp kills Gamera. Agh! Weird retard at the end!

  • Good old Gamera...he's such a devoted "friend to all children" that he even saves Garasharp's offspring. Who will almost certainly grow up and try to kill Gamera. So, from a strategic point of view, that was an incredibly foolish decision. Lucky for Gamera that the studio ran out of money...

  • Im from Brazil and i have 34 yrs old,and i have a turtle

with 30 yrs caled GAMERA.Good to remenber my childhood

  • Maybe they abandon the project because it would be a simple reptile fight (AKA: Turtle vs Cobra).

I'm a big fan of the new Gamera.

    LONG LIVE TO GAMERA.

Did anyone knows if the 2006 Gamera movie is as good as the new Gamera vs Gyaos Movies ?

  • Since this would have been a Showa-era Gamera movie, it would have been like "Gamera Vs. Jigra (Monster X)" or "Gamera Vs. Zigra" with cheesey special effects and two or three kids as the main characters.

And i've wondered about that wierd-looking monster at the end...the letters at the bottom read "Marukobu Garasharp". When I websearch "Marukobu" I usually find websites with pictures of some kind of mollusk. So maybe it's a parasite that also emerged from Garasharp's body.

  • I read it was marukobu garasharp is garasharps first form

  • his english name is malcobkarrapa

  • I think the reason they abandoned this was because there were zero humans.

  • Interesting trivia.

  • What is that thing at the end? It's not gamera or garasharp. It looks like what a bird and a pumpkin would like if they had a kid.

  • because he wants garasharps babies to be good like gamera

  • Why the hell would gammy save its babies? maybe its a good idea it wasn't made...

  • because Gamera is the protector of All Children.

  • Nah!...Is because he wants to save fighters for the future. He will wait until they grow up to fight with them.

"I spank your mother...now is your turn BABIES...HAHAHAHAHA (turtle laugh)"

  • Someone needs to make an up to date version and redesign the monster!

  • This should be the next Gamera movie.
