Wow, some people are weird... being upset because Zuko and Katara didn't end up together... :') I thought it was pretty obvious from the beginning that Aang and Katara were gonna end up together (btw its weird that like Aang, who is the MAINEST main character of the series has like, the least fans o.o) and Zuko already had a girlfriend so yeah, get over it, its just a cartoon (and a good one at that) :)

True in a way.

It is a FINITE story with a fast approaching conclusion and kudos to everyone creatively involved for sticking to their guns. When considering the series' insane, world-wide popularity though, you'd think NICK & Avatar creators DiMartino & Konietzko would be inclined to "Milk" thier "Cash Cow" for @ least another Season.

But from an artistic standpoint ending it on such a creative high note does set the stage nicely for future spin-offs not even to mention the LIVE ACTION MOVIE!

I think one of the main reasons this is a successful show is because it actually follows a plot, unlike most other shows. But as you can see with naruto, if it goes too long and has too many fillers then people get annoyed. For the little time this show has aired it has attracted way more viewers than naruto did at any one time. I think it would be hard to keep this series going on. Also it already had many fillers in book 1 and beginning of books 2 and 3. More than that would make it suck.
