Milan Thanks So Much!!, I was looking for a video in wich I can watch and learn a good legato example and let me tell you that for me you made it better than a lot of people out there. Keep Playing.. See Ya on the Road!!
Good stuff as usual Milan! To be honest I don't own any of your albums, think I am going to have to get 'Murhpy's Law.' Keep up the great stuff Milan!
Hi Milan, great playing and lesson as always! Do you have a good exercise for practising the type of wide left hand stretches that you play so well? Also if I was playing in B Aeolian (DMajor) for example, could I use the whole-tone scale for an outside tonality and if so which note would I start it on? Cheers.
Hi Andy, thx for your kind words. To exercise left hand stretches I really suggest taking a simple legato lick in a higher position of the neck (where it feels comfortable) and then just slowly moving it down the fretboard. But don't hurt your hands! :-)
Of course you can use whole tone over a major chord, especially if the major chord has a dominant 7 character. I'd suggest starting on the root and taking it from there. But make sure to always return inside again... ;-)
