Also both male and females have femoral pores, the males just have much larger ones. And if your water dragon lays eggs, she's definitely a female. Make sure she's getting plenty of calcium and UVB lighting :)

Looks like you have a female judging by the small spikes and small jowels. The males have a raised tail base, and the base of the spikes on the back are also raised. Males have larger heads, and are generally more triangular in shape. Females bodies are more round, same with their tale base. Mine is a male, and he looks way different than her. And FYI to the other commenters, ALL cwd's are supposed to be green. If they are brown it means they are cold, sick, or stressed.

with any lizard the bumps on the bottom will be large if its a male. water dragons, uum head size, crest size, color under the chin,tail size. it really takes awile to learn the diff. but iv had my male since he was born n hes almost 3 now. and i have a female to whos almost the complete opposite of him lol

poors on the underside of his thyes. two bulges that look liek testicles. with water dragons the mail often has a larger mor triangle head, and you can see his hip bones. he will also have orange armpits. just generaly more beautifle looking. with red headed agamas the males heads are red and they have a navey blue boddy. it realy depends on the lizard. but if you need help identifying the sex of one let me know and i will be glad to help you :)
