Since when does the government apologize to a foreign nation's subjects? If you want revenge, I suggest you get your Taiwanese government to launch an assault on China. That's what America did. When Japan attacked us, we kicked them. Of course, there is a problem, I suspect. Taiwan isn't strong enough to defeat China. But since both Taiwan and China are "friends" with America, it's hard to pit one against the other.
Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly are basic human right. I wholeheartedly support Wild Strawberry Movement's initiative against police brutality. Ma and Liu must apologize to all people for their inappropriate actions.
Keep on pressuring Ma's arrogant government until justice is done.
I agree on that but the hopes of seeing Ma or his government apologize is getting thinner...They are dirty assholes with no soul or pride to be Taiwanese, they should go back where they belong to...China! country...China!
Wow, another great job! Yeah, I must say that made in Chine isn't the solution... The thing is that they won't understand why... And for those Chinese who has been to Taiwan at least once they soon understood it. The goal isn't China or not China anymore... It is human rights. When they take that away from you and you will know how a tiger feels without teeth. Useless... that is... We have to do whatever it take to protect this students as they are the future of the land that belongs to freedom.
Thank you linkexchanger. I can only agree with you, this isn't a political issue anymore. What is happening in Taiwan is all about human rights. Is Taiwan becoming a "police state"? Can police use violence against people that are only protesting for transaprency and now students want an apolgy for what has happened and few other things but yet Ma didn't do anything about it! Shame Shame Shame on Ma and the actual government! That is all I can say...I am so disgusted at this point!
