I am using the Walkera 2801 Pro radio system with my Storm 450 and it was set up by Helipal. I am at the point where I want to try 3D flight. I can't seem to be able to get negative pitch while the motor is turning. Could it be that I have the throttle hold and the idle up levers confused? I am new to this hobby so pardon me for such a simple question. Which switches do what and what position should they be in in order to be able to do inverted flight.
To be able to control with just trims, the world's MOST unstable helicopter EVER, is an incredible achievement. I've been bitching about this infernal machine for a year. The offset flybar, ala the PiccoZ was all, I thought, that was needed.
Not so,, and here we have the real deal.
I imagine that your engineering degrees in mechanics and aeronautics helped a lot.
Yep, I'm using the trims! But as little as possible and only 1-2 clicks at a time, honest. Something has to keep it from getting too close to the walls. What's so special is that it corrects any movement exactly opposite of that movement, as opposed to to the left or right, which would cause what we call the "toilet bowl effect" where a heli will move in a circle and accelerate as it gets out of control. Try it, and let me know if trims are enough. ;) :D Later, Jay

LOL, couldn't resist taking a peep at your video. That's and awesome design you have there!! I think you'll be signing plenty of big contracts in the far future if you keep this up :)
That is the most stable Walkera 4#3 (any type...lol) i have ever seen. The flybar phasing looks perfect and only one little part makes this all possible!!
Truly Amazing.
I wish mine flew like that. It looks as stable as the legendary Hirobo Quark.
Keep up the great work I hope Walkera sees this...must have one yesterday!!!!!
Thanks! YES I am. As little as possible to keep it from drifting into the walls. I am clicking it only 1 or 2 clicks at a time and only to "influence" it back to the middle of the room. The recover from movements is purely the flybar doing what a flybar is really supposed to do! I never knew what a flybar really did until now! :) Later, Jay

Hi...
I read in many forums that the novus FP brushed motors burn out and die very quickly!
Have you ever had any problems with you little helicopter ?
Approximately how long do you think the brushed motors would last ?
And finally ...... for how long do you fly your helicopter with one battery pack ?!
