Dumb. Its appealing but not practical. Im a DJ and if anyone thinks about it... who uses a disco ball during the day let alone outdoors with sunlight. Disco balls are used at parties, proms, weddings, indoors, where light is minimal so that it actually reflects the spot light. this is a stupid concept. There are a lot of dumb people out there.

Yes. And you need a source of light shining on it in order for it to shine. Solar does not mean you need the sun to power it, only a source of light.

The solar powered disco ball is awesome and you could hang it by a window and it would just spin forever.
