Do not come into my videos with a condescending attitude if you clearly don't know what you're talking about. You only make yourself look foolish, not the other way around. As I said, ALL of my consists are based on real life Amtrak trains i've viewed on YT...the same videos available to you.

Well, perhaps if you had taken the time to read the whopping 12 comments on the page, you would have seen that this question has not only been asked ... but addressed, as well.
you i think your running chicargoland right, how on earth did you get that route to work so well, i tried and it has a lot of stuff missing. Can you give me some pointers??
Hey what route are you using for the California Zephyr/ southwest Chief? Just wondering becauuse i notice that people are walking around in the route.
two thumbs up, im very impressed with what you did. Good work, the only thing im wondering about is what is that noise that your p-42 engines was letting off on the Southwest Chief? sounds like you have a stuck open airbrake or something. But other then that. Coolbeans.
As for the strange sound...from what I've heard from others with the same problem, apparently there is some type of incompatibility between the Genesis diesel and the latest versions of the MSTS bin patch. That causes the strange feedback or electrical noise.

That is a good question what routes did you use?
Continental12235 2 years ago
what routes did you use
fredfredburger1213 2 years ago
Thanks for the compliment. And to reiterate, the strange noise is caused by some flaw in the design of the engine and a component within MSTS.

4:50 WTF? horn?
Addicted2Guitars 2 years ago
Its not the horn. There's a flaw with the Amtrak Genesis engine and a component in later versions of MSTS that makes that annoying electrical sound.

Awesome video. I liked what you did with the Lake Shore Limited. It resembles the old consists from around 2002.
