@miwipp I bought my 1998 Boxster in april this year with only 43kkm on the counter. It's by far the most interesting car i've owned so far. It corners like it's on rails. I very much like my wife's brand new BMW 120i, but my 13 year old Porsche really makes me smile.
My dad got a blue 986 for me yesterday, it is my first car ever and I am sooo excited! I didn't know how to drive a manual before but today I learned and am getting the hang of it but it's tricky especially on the Boxster.
But I love to rev it, and everyone looks at it no matter where we went, top up or down!
im 18 and i just got my car. i put new smoked lights and thats just the beginnin. i love my car i get looks in it form everybody and its 2008 and nobody knows it a 1999. they just see a beautiful car that porsche makes and does incredibly well.

Thanks for posting this video. I have a cobalt blue 987 and it turns head everywhere I go. Other cars like the Z4, G35, 350Z, may be faster going north-south but on twisty roads, the Boxster is in its own league, and it's also much better looking and classier. I really can't imagine anyone settling for an Infiniti G35 or Nissan 350Z.
wise words - I drove the lot (Z4 / 350Z etc etc) before i settled on the boxster - it's a damn fine car that attracts alot of critism or "words of wisdom" from envious onlookers, yup it's the poor man's porsche but I'm doing well enough buy mine cash/outright - I'm content with mine, it's definately fast enough and that exhaust note is freakin awesome!!
Just bought a 03 Boxster S today. Will take delivery tomorrow. Can't wait..

I'm also Boxster driver since this year. Driving a Boxster is pure fun and beyond all description!!! Buying it was one of my best decisions!!!
