  • He is the modern day Waylon!

  • gooby gob

  • Where corn rows don't grow!!

  • where corn don't grow

  • I love the way Travis did this AWESOME

  • I have been to 2 of Travis's concerts and both times he sang this song in tribute to Waylon Jennings, and he would also sing Folsom Prison Blues in tribute to Johnny Cash.

  • Travis did this great!

I love Wayon Jennings, Travis did this song justice.

  • Travis Tritt is the greatest in my book.....he can sing anything!!!!!!!

  • Now I see where Hetfield got his 90's look from! I don't like country at all, but I recently have grown into liking Travis and Clint Black and a couple Tim McGraw songs. Some of the old country is way good! Today's country is terrible! Taylor Swift and Rascal Flats?! Yuck!!

  • @mgdth502 Tim McGraw the biggest phony to ever pretend to sing !

  • I am a big big fan of Waylon and as for other artists covering Waylons songs it dont work for me but i got to admit when i heard Trivis Tritt sing Ive always been crazy i was very impressed well played and well sung Travis

  • WoW travis, nice job!

  • Nobody plays steel like Mooney. That man could make Charles Manson cry with that pedal steel, thrown in with Waylon's great voice.

  • ya know, im a big waylon fan, but this is pretty amazing. I don't think anybody could have ever covered it better

  • travis is a true musian to him hes lucky to support his family doing what he was born to do love ya t

  • as a singer and guitarist myself, Travis and Steve Wariner are my heroes

  • @chinton90 they are both awesome, and there are many pickers out there. All I can say is I would cut off one of my little toes, with a rusty butcher knife, while smiling to be able to play country like Waylon or blues like SRV.

  • @rexanater can't argue with that

  • waylon and travis both are fantastic ......;) love this song

  • anyone know how I find out the names of the people in this band?

  • but you can be proud of the way you sing... not many good ones left but sure your helpin to make it better ... :)

  • I like it....He didnt try to make the song his own like most artists try to do with a cover.

  • My wife keeps ragging on me for my love of country music! why, she says it's to depressing, I say bullshit!! and have to see his shows alone!! but I always have a great time anyway! I guess tattoo artist ain't suppose to like it! BULLSHIT !!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!!

  • A good ear has no enemies. Enjoy opera if it makes you happy! (I'm betting it don't) but, Travis does some great covers. (It really is his best music in my opinion).

  • @docink59 Got ya. My girlfriend likes the newer country music like Toby Keith and Tim McGraw, while I like country boys more like Hank Sr, Willie, Waylon and Johnny. We can't stand eachothers music when it comes to country! This version stays pretty true to Waylon's. I don't mind Travis Tritt too much anyways.

  • Fucking great!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I Saw Him Do This On The Grand Ol' Opry Tribute To Waylon. He Plays Guitar Good. Not Many People Know He's A Guitar Player .He's Usually Known For His Singing And Songwriting. He's A Good Guitarist Too.He Does Waylon's Songs Good!!!! Travis Is A Modern Day Waylon To This Generation.

  • Travis is the man. He sounds great no matter who's song he is singing.

  • waylon and moon

  • wow, travis is a excellent guitar player, great great voice,,, eye to eye to waylon,, i am sure waylon did respect travis talent a lot, with good reason..

  • Awesome! I've seen Travis play live at least 30 times and he keeps getting better. He's one of the true nice guys and a TRUE country legend. Travis rocks!

  • Travis is a great musician, but he is extremely conceded. But hell, listen to him, I would be too!

  • This is the real deal!

  • did he ever recroed this with waylon if so what album was it as i ahve watched the vid with the two of them sing it i have on waylons last live album he did befor he pased but waylon was a bit too ill to play the git like he used to it was a shame to se him having to sit down anf travis comes on and sings th song with him and also waylon says i may be sitting bu i can still kick ass you just got to bring it up to me keep rocking travis and rip waylon

  • Travis said that he recorded a live album with Waylon in 2000, I think, and they did this song together.

  • yes thank you i got it its called waylon last concet vid and thay did sing this song and wow thank you for trying to help

  • No problem. Travis had talked about the album on the Opry right after Waylon died.

  • cool its a gr8 album and dvd i highly recomned it waylon was on top from

  • Travis Tritt should get way more play on the radio, its a shame he does not! Tritts the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A very respectable job on this classic Waylon tune from the best modern country artist of the last 20 years.

Travis Tritt is the only guy in Nashville with the taste and the guts to deliver REAL DEAL country music! He's the closest thing to Waylon we are likely to find in the 21st century, and way better than the criminally overrated Garth Brooks...

  • thanks for posting this its awesome bro travis was my moma s favorite!he is a modern day outlaw just like waylon!!

  • It's good to see a modern country artist that respects all the legends (Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, ETC.....) He is the greatest modern country artist!

  • TRAVIS IS THE MAN!!!!

  • I have NEVER in my life heard any better country artist than Travis Tritt!!! He has got almost too much talent. He can do whatever he wants with his voice. Rawwrr!

  • If you don't like Travis, then you have no business watching these Travis Tritt videos.

  • i have always found it funny people posting how they either dont like an artist or how they dont like the genre. I think they have too much time on thier hands. I dont have that much time and I am working right now listening to travis tritt. Kind of funny if you ask me.

  • @bigdmck01 It's a nice attempt by Travis, but I think Waylon did it better.

  • This is one of my favorite Waylon songs. I love it when they sing it together. Thanks for this.
