I think that maybe NOFX, was addressing the dependency of perscription/recreational drugs, that America seems to have. Over 20% of Americans take pills, on a daily basis. This means many things, one of which is HUGE money and power for Big Pharma, as well as the addiction and death of many citizens as a result. It's technically illegal everywhere.... just because it's tolerated in the Netherlands doesn't mean it's legal. If anything, the US has the most easily accessed medical cannabis market and the largest consumption of marijuana per capita than ANY nation. Cannabis is TOLERATED in the Netherlands (Amsterdam is just the city with the concentration of coffeeshops). It is not legal, and if you do any research about it, you can't even technically grow cannabis there. They are working in a complete quasi legal industry. Distribution of less than 5 grams of cannabis is not prosecuted for there.
