Marotta you can't spell Pasteur (Pasture) or diseases (deceases). Spell check won't save you.
True religion and science must agree because they are they study of the creator and the creation, respectively. Science can apprehend the creation but the creator is beyond our capacity to understand. To insist on our own intellect and its instruments (reason, science) as the key to existence is arrogant by definition (ie nothing could be beyond our knowledge).
Just bought this book. I wanted to see if I could see a vid by or about him before I began to read it. I bought the book because of an essay he wrote, "God and the multiverse," on the commentisfree Guardian site. This was an excellent interview. He feels exactly as I do! And I noticed that there is a blurb from Michael Shermer on the cover of the book. I'm going to try to read all of it this weekend!
Excellent work, thank you for your open mindness, I love to hear people like you.
