Wow...seeing Star Fox 64 on the VC seems...well, a little surreal. You'd think that with the "Matrix slowdown to help you shoot stuff" lag, getting a high score on the N64 would be easier...as well as playing. Those giant enemy crabs just ZOOMED IN so fast!

@CrimsonZanpakuto Not here. Titania lags so bad on N64 that it fucks with your timing no matter how used to it you are.

Hey Winfried! I missed some bomb hits (it froze up a few times) and the HIT+2 at around 2:10, as well as the bomb at the checkpoint killing only 1 guy instead of 3.

But after the checkpoint had a ton of mistakes, but good rock separations. I'm pretty sure 400 here is doable even without TAS!

He weakens the first turret fight after I get 127 (I get 3 HIT+1's from him in the video, but if Peppy were alive, I'd only get 1).

Also, he fires at a group of enemies after the checkpoint, and sometimes kills 1 or 2.

Also it's just much easier to start this level on VC.

For some reason, ever since I bought the JP cartridge, my scores have been improving.

In fact, the N64 is still on with 9 lives preparing to go into Zoness.

From a high scorer like you, this may be bad, but it's my second time getting 700+ total hits by the third level.

CO - 246

SY - 266

AQ - 223

Still made a bunch of mistakes, especially on Aquas, but I still did OK from my terrible skills.

If you're curious (which I doubt you are), I breached 2000 total hits for the first time. (2001 lol.) I took the Co - Sy - Aq - Zo - Ma - A6 - Venom route. (played on expert.)

It was the same playthrough as the last comment.

Zo - 373

Ma - 215

A6 - 450 (slight improvement)

Ve - 228 (Got a Hit + 1 accidentally by shooting a charge shot at a pillar and CUSing Andrew.

I definitely think so, but it would be one of the more absurd WRs for someone could get.

400 is still really far away, and would demand a 195-200 checkpoint (possible, but insane).
