The Mammoth Car was indeed the most memorable "villain" in Speed Racer, and as @mnil0231 said, the musical cue is frightening. But the series' total disdain of basic physics is almost all I can see now that I'm past 40. ;-)

What I don't get is that if the Mammoth Car's engines total up to 30,000 horsepower, it leaves only 22,500 for the wheel engines. Dividing that by 1500 horsepower each, that means that there should only be 15 wheels on the Mammoth Car, but there are many more than 15.

I'm probably one of the younger ones here. I am 19, my dad introduced me to the show at a young age, he loved it as a kid (He's 50 now). Love this show, I have seen them all now. The remakes on Nicktoons do not compare in any way, and the movie definitely couldv'e been better. I love the mammoth car's horn. ^^

This was my fave cartoon as a kid in the 60's. I remember tearing ass off the school bus and running home like an idiot to watch this cartoon...Channel 48, Philadelphia, the Wee Willie Webber show!
