  • Does the keyboard have a backlight?

  • This is a pretty good little machine for the price! :D

  • ive had this laptop for 2 months now and so far it is excellent. it is capable of everything i need, it evens runs cod4 smoothly. i <3 lenovo

  • also i like to add

I watched his so called review right after i bought and it made it look nice. but what i didn't realized that he didn't used it or had it a much time to fully experience it's faults moreover lenovo flows in designs and costumer service reps which are almost equal to AT-T support

  • I had mine for about 9 Months:

LED Display looses pixels every 3-4 Months

Everytime i type by accident i touch mouse pad and it become annoying when i have to stop and readjust locations

Build-in Camera is shit ass quality face recognition only works from 7AM-4(5) pm, i had it replaced twice already.!

I which i never bought this unit

Since i thought i was buying IBM somewhat redesigned which made it to be a Lenovo But what i bought is Peace of CRAP

    Good Luck to other users

  • I got 2gb core i3 version for 300 Euro. In an ideal world this is far from a first choice laptop. This is a budget laptop that does a bit of everything, and it has to be judged in this regard. It has a solid feel to with a dark black color which is good. It does come with a load of pre installed rubbish but don't all laptops! I can't afford the laptop i want and this will do for the time being!

  • what kind of webcam software do u have for your lenovo

  • i get tired of lenovos bullshit, see i have software problems because of the buggy crap they loaded into it and i hear the hard drive make a short buzz sound.

when i explain it they, refuse to take it, why because it still works so basically they want it to break in order for me to get service. so i got a 4yr warranty from another company so that when it does break it wont be serviced by them.

on another note, they make it easy to switch cpus on this model

  • you should have bought one with dedicated video card if you wanted games

  • @Vivek8510 what about the hinges ! i hav heard that they r delocate and poor. what about in ur case are they (hinges) working fine. and how long have u been using ths model ? thanx ;)

  • i got mine replaced with a i7 2630qm with 8gb ram and i can play skyrim on it...

  • So many things wrong with this it's not even funny"Keyboard nice" replaced mine 3 times already only 90 day warranty on it,hinge creaks and wears out. Company is the worst to deal with they keep you on hold for hours then hang up on you. "Everything preloaded" with so much crap trial software becomes so slow; even viruses and spyware out of the box no disk to do a clean install. Wont send you one either, apparently that stuff is essential for its operation and should not be deleted. Never again

  • @ve3tru Build quality, warranty, customer service, preloaded software issues... Dude, try a MacBook, it will blow your mind.

  • @AibalReview A Macbook is overpriced for what you get you pay for a name problem is this is a $500 laptop with the same specs as a $1100 Mac if you spend a extra $200 for a higher quality model of laptop you get quality with the performance and it cost you $400 less then the Mac.

  • @STRIKER520 You are suggesting that a $700 windows notebook can be found that is 'equal' to a $1100 Mac (let's say Macbook Air 13). I am curious to know what model you are talking about and some reviews that back up this claim. I suspect you are simply comparing 'specs' (cpu/gpu/ram/hdd) between different models? This isn't how I would value the total worth of a laptop. The trackpad, keyboard, display, etc. are equally important, which is why I've spent time reviewing these features here.

  • @AibalReview Macs blow.

  • i have this laptop and i think its great and its really good for everyday use!

  • @LoveWhales4life So you would recommend it? I'm looking for a cheap notebook. I don't expect any wonders from it, I will mainly use it to take notes at school, watch some TV series or write and occasionally play some games when I'm bored in class - but not being a fan of most of the games nowadays, I probably wouldn't stress it too much.

Do you think this notebook would be good for me? How's the fan sound and the heat? Aren't there any significant problems I should know about?

  • @stalk8r It doesn't heat up because it's not doing a lot of power. The fan sound you don't hear it! It's not a really a gaming laptop...just don't do hard core gaming. Overall it's a good laptop!

  • hey i can play call of duty 4 multiplayer with this machine thumbs if you can too :)

  • would this laptop be any good for playing world of warcraft and minecraft on ?

  • I got this same model today and iam so happy with its performance friends! i5 is super! i dont know i7 is! it would be mindblowing!

  • @Vivek8510 hows the fan sound? is it noisy? noticeable? let me know thanks.

  • @MTran0708 No bro! i didn't hear any fan sound at all! i have been using it for a long period of time! it's really silent! no internal sound at all friend!

  • I just notice that mine doesn't have hdmi port (G750) I'm wonderin why!

  • how did you connect the laptop with Tv I mean which port did u use

  • dude the contrast and brightness is also good just increase it to the max

    Fn+ up arrow

  • the screen is good most laptops have the same display i have the g575 itz a laptop and i didnt lyk dat u compared it with a macbook nd an xbox

  • great review, by the way. good job man!

  • There is no dedicated WIFI and BT buttons?

  • best laptop for the money

and it's cool as fuck, playing videogames and it's still cold...

    no idea how lol

  • i can get this laptop for $420 in-store but it is the i3 one with the 1gb ati 6370M gpu, but could anyone tell me if it's worth buying!!

  • @97purna for office yes. I heard that playing games is not very good on it. But worth a shot. And btw lenovo is very tough computers.

  • i think comparing anything to a mac is just unfair...lol

  • how about web cam facility

  • G8 ....sir tx A lot for sch nice Review :)

  • How far does the lid on the 570 open? I have a 530 and it doesn't go that far back. I use my laptop standing up for DJ use and need a lid that opens up more than the 530. All my other laptops open way more. If you could please let me know. Thanks!

  • great review but you said nothing at all about the sound quality!

  • Slightly put off by Lenovo after I purchased their laptop (not G570) that had a really poor microphone. Eventually it had to be returned because the levels were appallingly low. Have you had any problems with the microphone on this model?

  • Very nice review. A+

  • The video out function keys are a waste, Windows button+P for projector setting :P

  • iv found this laptop for £529 ?

  • good thing the g575 came out

  • it says on the Lenovo website that the G570 has the i3 processor... what am i missing?

  • @3Nex i think you can get them with either i3, i5 or i7 processors, with varying ram and hard drive sizes. the g570 comes in i3 pay a little extra and get i5.

  • @3Nex you can gat every laptop in the world different e.g. the same laptops but the internals are customized to the retailers liking so you may find it (same shape) but with better internals for a cheaper price somewhere so every laptop is different even those with the same namde. like people... lmao

  • great review, thanks.

  • I have had this laptop for about a month and its friggin awesome

  • What do u mean you can get a blue ray disk if you want? how?

  • @pleeeeep

not a blu ray dvd disk ... what he's meant is you can change the regular dvd drive to blu ray drive. Just bought the drive from retail store or ebay.com

  • Awesome review but why is spricket24 over there >>

  • is this good for computer games such as oblivion?

    please someone comment back

  • if it can play bc2 okish how come when i play minecraft on this computer its really slow and i just bought this computer brand new

  • @Joshuab75000 idk dude i had a decent pc and it never ran minecraft very well and it was non multiplayer beta

  • This laptop is $412(tax included) at frys where i live...

  • LOVE everything about it, THANK YOU for comparing the screen. the screen was a big thing i was worried about and you just helped me save money on a laptop i wouldnt have been satisfied with 100%. BEST laptop review ive ever seen. dont know why you chose to do it, but i wish you did this with most laptops outthere.....maybe you do and i havent looked around enough! haha... thank you!!!

  • Hey, i been looking at buying this laptop for a while. But wondering. DO you know if the US version has a different keyboard layout? I dont like the tiny space bar and i hear you mentioned the one you had was the japanese model.

  • Wait... so was the ram the problem with the gaming?

  • this one or samsung rv509??? pls let me knw

  • @MrBlogger11 Lenovo G570 is better in my opinion

  • @SuperCoolmoh well i m getting a hp 430 or acer 4755........

  • no its not jbl speaker

  • Man this is a great laptop and I'm using it for about 2 months now ... very fast and multi-function ... Who cares about the package mate ???? I'm gonna use the laptop not sit there watch the packing !!

  • Thinking about this... jbl speakers or no?

  • may be he's too rich he calls it budget.this one's a good laptop with good and efficient features

  • @MrJin1992 LOL. The G570 offers great value. I use the term 'budget' to say that it isn't a high-end laptop; it's one of the cheapest 15-inchers I could find at the time.

  • @MrJin1992 It is a budget laptop. I got mine for $379.

  • @superskwrl It's 500 gbp here in the UK

  • @jalil1371 Ouch, thats more than double!

  • @superskwrl is it a good laptop? I mean should I buy it? because I've been searching for different laptops for about 2 months now

  • @jalil1371 I like it alot and haven't found any problems with it so far. The only thing I don't like is the screen sometimes wobbles a bit if you move the table or type hard (the hinges aren't the best), but then again my last laptop was a thinkpad which had solid metal hinges so I'm kind of spoiled in that area. Other than that I really like it and haven't found anything else wrong with it.

  • @superskwrl thanks man i appreciate your help but just one more thing, how is the speaker quality?

  • @jalil1371 The speaker quality is ok. It doesn't distort when you turn it all the way up, and it sounds basically like standard laptop speakers, not great but not bad.

  • @superskwrl What currency is the $379 in?

  • @Obviously2Pro US Dollars. Mine had an i3 instead of i5. I got it during a sale at frys.com"

  • @superskwrl whyyyy??? in my country its costs 540$(((

  • @stoptotalkingbaby There was a back to school sale. Originally it cost $500, and also mine has an i3 not an i5.

  • @superskwrl where did you got it? i want one:D

  • @superskwrl where did you got it?? i want one! :D

  • @superskwrl 379? Which processor?

  • @blognewb i3

  • @superskwrl where did you get it?

  • @superskwrl Where did you get that price? I am looking for one.

  • @elgransr I got at the frys website. Search lenovo 570 and there should be one for $398. It's gone up $20 since I bought it, I must have gotten it during a sale.

  • @elgransr I think Best Buy has a better deal on a B570 w/ HDMI

  • @aibalreview , how is it a budjet laptop?!!!! Its £500!!!!!!!!!

  • USING THE SAME PC

  • Does this thing have bluetooth?

  • @flatblackstrat mine does, so yes

  • @amangonecrazy How did you pair a device. This is my first 7 machine and it's in my second language so complex navigation can be difficult at times. Any info would be appreciated.

  • @flatblackstrat emm, i got it tested just now, since this laptop is fairly new (to be exact, bought it yesterday xD) im still in the tryout stages. So you navigate to the bar at the bottom of the screen (the desktop bar, not sure what you call it) on the right side theres an arrow pointing up, there should be a bluetooth icon, enable it (usualy already enabled) click add a device (top of list, shd be same in yo lang), switch on BT cnction on ur phone device, a screen pops up and it should detect

  • @amangonecrazy Just I expected, I don't have it. But I payed about 150-200 bucks less than what people are paying stateside.

  • @flatblackstrat CONTINUE: It will detect your bluetooth device, double click your phone, it should give you a code which you have to enter on your mobile to succesfully pair with each other, and then after that it all should be aight. I hope this was what youre looking for

  • @flatblackstrat Oops i think i wasnt being clear enough there, Click on the small arrow pointing up on the desktop, you should see a bluetooth icon, right click BT icon> Turn adapter On > Add a device > wait for device detection> double click device > enter code displayed on your BT device and then it will pair

  • @amangonecrazy Thanks for the explanation buddy. Although I am fairly positive I don't have bluetooth on this conmputer you can't beat the value. Core i5, 4gb ram, 600Gig HDD..... There really isn't anything else on the market in Japan for the same price except for an HP I saw but this build quality was not as good.

  • @flatblackstrat its a good build for its price, mine comes with 550 GB HDD and dual graphics card, im not a heavy gamer but i'd like to play for an hour or so once in a while, and this laptop handles games from 1-2 years back perfectly, so far no problems, it was the best deal i got from where i bought, wasnt as expensive as the Dells or Samsungs but the specs were good for the price

  • I think I can play battlefield 2 just fine on my lenovo g570 cos I have another prossesor :)

  • super review. thanks. was looking at this laptop's review and found your video. Thanks.

  • 10x like ur review

    lenovo g570

  • Nice review. I bought one recently (i3) I was coming from a gen. 1 Macbook Air. And the review is spot on. I bought mine for about HK5000, I played a bit of WOW (cata) on it, and it wasn't great, but playable. It's now anchored to my desk at work and whilst, I do miss some of the Mac OS features and screen. It has a good price and for office stuff is fine.

  • another perfect review! Nice language! :)

  • Hey man. First time viewer here. I'm really happy you bought this since I am buying the same one in 2 days. I found it at Yamada denki for 57,890 yen. Is that a good price? It is the cheapest laptop in Japan with an i5 sandy bridge and 4 gigs of ram. I will be using it mainly for word processing and a lot of Hulu and Netflix through a VPN. I looked at the Dell and HP offerings and they were a bit more expensive and have lower review ratings compared to Lenovo.

  • is the display a huge problem or is it nit picking?...because i heard the display really lets this notebook down...?...i'm considering buying it However display is quite important to me as I do watch alot of videos etc. Would you recommend this?

  • this is great man

  • great review mate :D
