I feel so sad looking at these still pictures of John Belushi. He looks like a good person & a goodhearted guy Im gonna miss this guy so much. First time I saw John Belushi play a role as a romantic man. He was the light of the party & I bet a great person to laugh with & a great friend. R.I.P John Belushi We are gonna miss you.

I've been reviewing movies on rock radio since 1976. "Continental Divide" is still one of my all-time favorite romantic comedies. And having grown up in Colorado for a few years, the outdoor cinematography is great. Thanks for the reminder!

I have always been really into birds and I loved this movie when I was a kid. Very different role for John Belushi. It was just a sweet little unique movie from the 80's and I own it and I like it a lot. This movie was made one year before he died.

In Italy, where I live, it's released in Dvd with the title of "Chiamami aquila" (Call me eagle). I know there is also in England, because I saw it this summer, with its original title "Continental Divide".

Thanks for all these infos. I also live in Europe (Region 2 for DVDs) and so there's the original version in English + other languages as well I guess ?

I don't know. My version has only Italian and English language, Italian subtitles and no extras. I guess all the European versions are like that, so I think you can find the dvd with your language and English, and subtitles in your language.

Thanks - I don't mind having only the English version but if it can have the French dubbing too (though I doubt it) or at least the French subtitles, I'd be happy. I'll search then, I should find it if it's been released for Region 2.

The French title is "Deux droles d'oiseau".

I don't know if there is a French dubbed dvd, but I saw on the Fnac website that a version with French subtitles is available.

Thanks for the title - I don't like it, a "drole d'oiseau" is a bit derogative in French and it doesn't convey the romance and sweet side of the movie (from what I've seen through your vid). But I'll check it out. If they found a French name (even a bad one) for a movie, that means there must be a French version of it somewhere.

Surely, there is a French dubbed vhs version of the 80s, but I guess it's difficult to find.

Unfortunately, all the foreign titles of this movie are a bit strange and don't fit the real meaning of the original title...
