To the people complaining about the kick's supposed impossibility, I hope you also noticed that kung fu was the art practiced in a movie called karate kid. Then again Chan has a sense of humor so he was not insulted by it.

I've seen kung fu guys get really steamed to be referred to as karatekas and vice versa. Good movie though and that kick is very doable. And much more. TKD, Hapkido, Wushu, Certain versions of Karate, Ninpo, and other arts are quite acrobatic.

The one foot back flip is definitely possible. Maybe not for Jaden, or maybe Jaden made many attempts but it's definitely achievable. You just have to push one hamstring in the leg stronger than the next for that leg to be able to kick and for you to land.
