I have developed computer systems and currently work developing Web 2 sites for commercial use. I can tell you this researcher is onto something; his ideas have significant merit.

Not so long ago the 'scientific community' ridiculed the people who believed in plate tectonics! I have a PhD in geophysics and believe me, scientists are very human. They hold onto their beliefs just like anyone who's livelihood and life's work is threatened.

I find it quite interesting that something I have known for years, being an old Shortwave listener, that the sun and stars had more effect on the earth than just the geomagnetic field.
Live in the arctic and you will know that clouds increase the temperature, by reflecting back towards earth, it's felt almost instantaneously, so, it may be more correct to say that clouds seems to be stabilizing the temperature around a certain temperature range..
That is a different phenomenon, and it isn't exclusive to the arctic. The phenomenon you are referring to is when clouds keep radiation from escaping from the earth into the atmosphere. Additionally, clouds often move in with warm fronts or increases in moisture, the latter further trapping radiation around the surface.
Increases in cloud cover will cool the climate by decreasing the absorption of solar radiation by oceans and the earth's surface.
