Thank you so much for these videos! I am finally able to do circular breathing and it is a very freeing feeling. Your videos are simplicity at its best. Excellent!
hey markus excellent job on the didge tutorials the day i got mine i only knew the basic drone and eeooeeoo, u've managed to teach me all but circular breathing in a day, that took about a week of practice. still havin a lil trouble with the do d do d do part on this last part (cant seem to stutter the d and breathe)
also ive been trying to figure out how to make the croc growl (the real deep 2 tone godlike sound) maybe u or anyone else has some pointers?
helo Markus Very helpfull video, thank you a lot. I learn a lot of play didge.Would you be so kind and tell or show me ( like this video ) something about wobble playing.
Wow, with your videos, i really had an advance, i'm from Mexico Markus, and i only have a youtube account for my learning, thanks for this short vids. Congrats and have a very good energy man!!!
Just make sure that I understand the point of practice:
ta.tta--ta.tta.tta.tta
Are you inhaling ~six times in the above routine ( as continuation of the practice of circular breathing)? (--also as indicated by the movement of your fingers in the video?)
***By the way, I love this instrument and the sound - as if it comes out of the ground. After visiting australia, I am practicing with ~55inch x 1.5 inch (diameter) PVC pipe. Yet, it still makes a fairly good sound!!!
Your videos helped me go from droning till my breath ran out to beatboxing with my didge in 1 day! Circle breathing is really the hardest part. I think the problem is in back pressure... the didge I have was a fairly inexpensive one from an art show ($25). Is this better used for decoration?
I also bought mine really cheap from a festival, €15, it works fine for circular breathing, try moving it to the side a little so you play from one side of your mouth. There are great tutorials on youtube, keep practising it will come.
nice videos, keep didj playing simple and straight to the point, I hope manage to get to some point, and yours was a definite help!.
Something I dont quite get is circular breathing, I mean, I manage the thing and blow without hardly any change on noise, but when time of making ruthms arrive, I keep brething in too much, in the do-dee exercise, fer xample, If I breathe in each do, I get too much air! :S plz help, and oonce more, ty fer the vids.
