and the end of the USMC campaign is when jackson and his squad go to retrive the pilot from the crash sight and then they fly back in the lz but a nuke blows up the place and effects the plane and everyone dies except jackson who bleeds to death in the levels aftermath and this other one i forgot where you fly

i wouldn't really delve deep into a game thats not suppose to be very, very, very accurate, but no, it depends on the bomb itself. if it was a small one, then it probably take ages to kill him. if it was a huge one. a massive one, then yes, you would be correct.

in the boat scene, if you missed the jump you technically wouldn't have died. the captain would have dropped the rope from the helicopter and had you lifted out of the water.
