  • Ravan was a great King of Sinhalese(Lanka). He fought the vedic aryan who wanted to impose vedic religion on others.

    The flag that Ram shot down from Ravan chariot and Laksman shot down from Indrajit respectively is similar to Kirat flag.

  • @diliprai Shiva is the oldest and most original god in hinduism - read in the Shiv Puran.. he was not adopted by any other tribe since vedic religion/hinduism is the oldest.

  • Ah yes - this takes me back to days of old when the cable service came into one's TV without the box. Back then one could record one channel's programming on a VCR while someone else watch another channel - which is how I had to watch this series, because no-one else in the house had much interest in it.

    The DVD Set is on my shopping list.
