This was sad news. I also suffer from depression and have suicidal thoughts each day so I have some idea of what he had to struggle with. It seems the only way out even though it isn't. I have 2 crisis numbers nearby all the time. I wish he had done the same and phoned someone. RIP.

I will never forget the times I have met him. He lived in my area and I would often see him around and he would always come over and say hi to me and whoever I was with. He was a truly talented, kind hearted guy who I will miss every day. I broke down in tears at his funeral!

I'm sorry to hear it cdickens I have had six suicide attempts in my family, two were a success and the other four were failures. It's also important to remember, that the vast majority of suicide attempts are failures. May Mark RIP.

Great work...love the music, it's so fitting. As a sufferer of depression I know some of what Mark must have been feeling that day. I have had 2 failed suicide attempts and following the second one, someone said to me 'suicide is killing the one persn you can actually change' I now live everyday by this quote, and after surviving twice i've realised that I am obviously still here for a reason. i just wanted to say a short thing i know its been said many times but I wam very sad that mark died he was a amazing actor just the other night while watching All Saints i thought he is a great actor then two days after he had died... He seemed like a amazing fun loving person and i cant seem to get it out of head..Rest in Peace Mark..

Depression can hit anyone, yet someone like Mark you would think could draw from his success to get him through. It quiet sobering to think, that even talent, money,looks doesn't even protect you from the enigma of suicide. Suicide, may seem an option for the sufferer, but thought should be given to those left behind. My sister in laws father, suicided the day before x-mas, his pain maybe gone, but now every x-mas is painfully for those left behind.

I hope that he is free from the pain he has had to live through and that he finally has peace. Depression is an awful awful illness and unless you've been through it you wont know how bad it is and how some suffers only see one way out.
